The wife and I just spent a couple of hours going through several places to order our stuff to start DIY E-Liquid. We ended up getting a few things from WL, Bull City and Amazon.

We plan to just start out with 0 nic and work on the flavoring with basic one flavor juices until we can figure out the 70/30 to flavor ratio and steep times. Then we can add a bit of nic to those but still work on 0 nic for multiple flavors mixed until we are happy with that and then add nic.

Have the latest E-Juice me up loaded on system. Plan to get a nic test kit once we start adding nic to it just to confirm the nic amount it correct until we are more experienced with this.

Bull city: (Kept adding to get the free shipping)
Ended up ordering 12 Flavors (all TFA).
240 ml bottles
30ml bottles with dripper
240ml of 100mg nic (PG)

WL:
syringes
blunt tip needles
graduated glass cylinder 100ml

Amazon:
PG
VG

What will you make first?
I'm guessing my wife will try peach flavored. I plan to work with an apple flavor. I picked up a bottle from the local B/M that has apple as the base and I want to try to duplicate it eventually or at least get very close to it.

I have only vaped one flavor until last weekend and that has always been peaches and cream so it's going to cause me to want to try different things.

That sounds like a plan. Well keep us posted. If you add your nicotine after getting the flavour down it will dilute it some. I generally make a 250mls base of pg/vg and nic. I then use 5ml dropper bottles for testing new flavours. Add a few drops of flavour, then the base. 5 to 7 seconds in microwave, shake and drip to test. Making sure I keep notes as I go. Then if I need to adjust the flavour add a couple more drops then retest. If I like the end result, will make a 30 to 60 ml batch in coloured glass bottles also on amazon. The nicotine can also affect the flavour, this is why I make up my base before. It also eliminates having to open up the high concentration bottle of nicotine so often. Good luck.

Congrats on the move! I got started a couple weeks ago and finished the last few drops of my store-bought juice last night...would've been sooner, but I find I'm every bit as happy with my home brews so far. Hope it goes as well on your end!

Thanks all, I guessing I wont get everything until around new years. So hopefully shortly after new years we can get started.

My wife checked in on the orders and all three of them shipped today. Who knows maybe they will make it here before new years.

LOL...don't think you're done spending money! TFA has some nice flavors, but most of the recipes you'll find here are Flavourart. You will be placing an order for LOTS of those flavors once you discover the recipes of HIC, wllmc, cramptholomew etc. And you thought vaping was going to save you money over smoking....NOT..LOL On a serious note, welcome to DIY!

We figured on having to order more stuff later on, but we had to start somewhere so that is what we did. :).

My first BCV order clocked at 40something flavors, mostly TFA and FA - still under $100 for (almost) everything that seemed like it might fit my or my wife's flavor profiles...may have to pick up a few more outlier flavors for some of the fancy recipes on here, but I still believe we'll be saving money hand over fist now that we're in the DIY game versus B&M juice. My sig line is a little misleading as I finance 90% of two people's vaping where my wife covered somewhat closer to half the cost of our cigs...
