I see these articles are supported by schools of medicine, same as all others in this country. They are are supported by Big Pharma and I am sure big pharma wouldn't lie

Not really - the sources in your links compare studies largely paid for by industry that is backed by the FDA which is basically a government sponsored protection racket (paid for by your tax dollars no less) for the cosmetic, "food" and pharmaceutical industries.
Those industries feed on each other at the expense of the American people
I truly hope you never fall victim to any of the maladies brought on by the modern American diet - especially cancers or autoimmune diseases - or what passes for health care that can be more detrimental than the actual disease or cause more long-term harm that whatever it is it's supposed to cure
Some of us have learned the hard way, dropped out of that vicious hoax and have found a better way and taken control of our own health
