Chain vaping and not satisfied

Have been vaping for about a year now and have found myself chain vaping more and more. It seems like my nicotine cravings are not being satisfied anymore. I use 6mg ejuice.

With that being said, would it be advisable to try nic salts and at what strength? I didn't want to go the nic salt route based on the type of builds I like and the power settings I use. From what I've read, you don't want to vape nic salts at a high wattage and/or with low ohm builds.

The brands that I love only go up to 6mg before changing to nic salts. Thoughts/opinions?

You are in a tough spot, unfortunately I have also experienced this and decided to go pod based as an alternative. I use my regular 3mg nic with my everyday mods and carry a Orion as my I need a nic hit quick, I use 35mg and it's perfect, I tried using 50mg and it was waaaay too strong. I advise you to try a disposable pod first to see if it helps.

I suggest getting a bottle of Nicotine Base in your preferred mix of VG/PG and add an ML or two to make the Nicotine percentage you need or want. The minor amount of dilution from the Nicotine will really not affect the taste in a perceivable way. Good Luck~!

Try a salt nic in 6mg. Some juice companies are using salt nic at lower levels now. Mr. Good Vape is one of them.

2x setups I use at the moment. Always using ni80 normally a fused clapton or alien somewhere between .1 - .3 ohms. I have a mech mod sqounker at the moment and an Aegis legend on the way. Always using an RDA or RTA.

I'm also on the hunt for the right color Paranormal dna250c, I really like the features it has and would use them. I haven't dabbled into TC yet but have been planning on it with the new setups.

I didn't realize there were some companies making the nic salt ejuice with a 6mg strength. That makes sense to try that out and I also like the suggestion of just adding a little nic base to whatever juice I have. I may try that out!

It might be more economical to go ahead and get it in a higher concentration especially if you later find that 6mg, even in nic salts, still isn't scratching that itch. You can always reduce it to whatever level you want, you just can't increase it.

I think you have that backwards you can more easily add more Nicotine even if it is Salt Nic. Sure you can mix 50/50 of the same flavor but not as simple as adding an ML or two.

I was speaking specifically to nic level ... for example 100mg base nic to 6mg, nic salt or otherwise ... target nic cannot be greater than base nic.

1st off I doubt anyone vapes 100MG and normally when buying Nicotine people do not buy 6MG.

It was an example Steve, I could have put any commonly purchased nic level there but 100mg is probably the most common. If you look at the original quote that I responded to, it sounded like 6mg was exactly what he was considering trying to purchase.

As I already mentioned above, your target nic CANNOT be greater than your base nic so no, that isn't incorrect. If you start with a 6mg base, that's as high as you can go, period.

The point I was making is that you can't raise the nic level beyond whatever nic base you start with so it might be a good idea to start with a higher level ( of nic base ) so he has the ability to increase it later on if he finds that necessary. I think the WTA suggestion is probably the best, or what Juicy said, going back to MtL vaping. I've never done the DtL vaping other than once as an experiment, but I can't fathom it being remotely satisfyng to an ex-smoker; huffing isn't the same as smoking a cigarette.

If what you're doing now isn't satisfying.. why keep doing it that way? Clearly it isn't working and you need to try something different.

Y'know, like this:

Okay, it was my damn mech mod not hitting like it should. The voltage drop is probably the main culprit but I just received an Aegis Legend and I'm back to fulfilling my craves. Now the chain vaping is probably because I LOVE these damn flavors so much! Damnit... Just kidding.

Both Juicy and myself had our difficulties with vaping/not smoking, and both of us managed to resolve them and ditch the coffin nails and become happy vapers; I think she feels much as I do, that it's worth whatever one has to do to make it work, and also to pass it along to others -- no, vaping isn't the easiest thing ever, smoking is much easier... but smoking will kill you, AND make you poor and stinky, vaping most likely won't.

About that Juul comment earlier -- I don't really know that much about 'em, since they came out a long time after I started, and they seem to be aimed primarily at brand new vapers; I read something yesterday about them, over at Quora, which leads me to believe that they might make beginning as a vaper a MUCH simpler thing, than it probably was for most of us here. And for that, I'd have to say they're truly a valuable contribution to the vaping world, to help newbies get started, because that really is the hardest part of any of this, the getting started.

Ironically, I dual used for just over three years and could never quite stop having an occasional cigarette - it was Andria (we were at the other place then) who helped me the most to finally quit for good - and it will be three years on Jan 12 since I had one single puff on a smoke

For me it was super easy, the first time I ditched the smokes for the vape... but after that relapse to dual use I had, then coming back to vape-only, if it hadn't been for WTA, I'd never have made it, because that 2nd time, those damn cravings would NOT stop -- WTA banished them completely. For someone who really and truly WANTS to be a non-smoker, but can't get past the cravings, WTA is truly a miracle. Unfortunately, a lot of folks who haven't yet quit, nor really invested themselves into quitting, have spread the idea that WTA doesn't really work -- because it won't provide the motivation to actually quit, which can often be the hardest part, just making the choice -- it's definitely the scariest! It's kinda like a trapeze act -- WTA is the net... but you have to actually step off, all on your own.

I just love hit'n it ! and this is a 3 coil vandy vape triple.
usually, like right now, its just small hits.
