Nothing that I am aware of. Spent most of the day unloading stuff from the truck and filling feed bins and freezers, assembling a couple cat carriers, etc. No big deal.
You hit the lotto today.....no injuries, nobody ill, etc.......:)

Weather was prolly not on your side tho.....wasn't here either....ice on the lawn this morning, cold today

Partly cloudy/partly sunny, light wind, supposed to be in the low 30s but we only hit high 20s. I hope tomorrow is better and maybe (keep your fingers crossed, even if it is hard to type like that) I can get Bob started and clear out some of this crappy white shit.

Damn, Rich....sounds like BLIZZARD conditions on Monday in your area.....
Yup...
Monday
A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before 11am. Patchy blowing snow between 8am and 3pm. Cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 0 by 5pm. Wind chill values between -11 and -21. Blustery, with a north wind 18 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
Monday Night
Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around -5. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

At least next Thursday and Friday look good.

All that wording for "It's gonna snow - will be cold as shit"......"The wind could range from 0-60mph"

Nope, not one stick. We are using a little electric heater instead. Sigh...
Damn, that's not good when it's really cold. It's a damn pitty things are NOT like they used to be, folks helping other folks....teenagers not glued to a phone 24/7, and actually helping people.....it's just pitiful, and becoming worse as the years fly by.

Remember when I was really young...my father told me the old guy up on the hill could use some help milking tonight, his wife had an operation, she won't be able to help....That's all he had to say, I was on my bike riding as fast as I could to help him and his wife.

That's the way you and I grew up, but the kids today don't seem to want to let loose of their video games, smart phones, etc., even if you say you'll pay them. Seems that someone told them that us old pharts OWE THEM a free ride trough life.....

My brother was just telling me how useless his son is....video games from 2PM till 4AM....then back to bed till 1:30PM.

I told him I would kick the living shit out of the kid, and bust up anything related to a video game.
He says, oh we can't do that to him......:gaah:

Well, with parents like that, he'll be a collage grad and still living with his parents and playing video games all day.

Tired and wishing I was smart enough to go to bed early, but...

Managed to get old Bob started and cleared snow out of the driveway out to the highway and create paths to the barns and other points of interest. It got hot here today (39F) :D and, of course, the precipitation that wasn't supposed to be here was rain, so lay that on top of the snow I just plowed and lower the temp to single digit (blizzard tomorrow?) and we probably should wear ice skates to go do chores tomorrow. In preparation for that nasty weather, I unloaded all the grain and pine shavings from the truck into the hay room, filled the wheat bin for chickens, etc. Yup, I be a tired old phart now...

Yeah I hear that, been a lot of nights I've had that same thought.
I am surprised ole Bob fired up. It's been about a screwed up winter this year so far.
It got cold here and snowed early this year but we haven't had any snow for a while here now.
I am ready for spring.

I had it on trickle charge since yesterday morning and sprayed a lot of starter stuff in (ether). It took a while, but it finally fired up and I jacked the choke around until I found a friendly spot to keep it running.
I am ready for spring.
I'll second that one. I really wish the next three months would just evaporate and it would be the end of March already.

I just wish we would start having March or April weather starting today, it would be nice to actually have a spring this year too for a change.

I agree with that one too. This last time around, we went from winter right into summer without any defined spring, which really screwed up our garden plans.
