How was life on the Homestead today, Rich?
Anything exciting (or bizarre) occur?
Well, Cricket (Lannie's best milk cow) seemed to have tangled with a broken wild plum limb (or there is a piece of loose barbed wire somewhere) because she had a couple bloody teats this morning. Other than that, SSDD.

I'm happy with how warm it's been but also afraid of how hot summer will be oh and warm summers mean hurricanes.

I'm in south central Arizona, but spent some time north of Houston.

I am ready for it, nothing like fresh out of the garden
Indeed, Jimi....I'm going to enlarge my garden this year, need more space for those damn sweet potatoes which take over everything.

That would really suck, i have to have a garden, it keeps me alive
Sure beats a Kroger tho......:)

Kinda wish we had decent farmers markets around here, but there really isn't many people growing anything if you don't have shade, the sun just fries everything.
