mesh gets out of the clamps when i wick the profile! help!

i used the original wotofo cotton, or an equally or slightly less thick cotton strip and i screwed the mesh tightly. has this happened to anyone? is there a chance i got a slightly malfunction rda?

Never had that happen as long as the ends are secure.

Are you clamping the mesh above the solid strip?

When i 1st got mine. I had that same problem. Pulled cotton thru and mesh came out... Problem was mesh was beside the clamp and not in it....

you mean it wasnt even inserted in both clamps??

Happened to me to but I managed to get it back in.

Second time round, I used a tiny tool of some sort to depress the spring-loaded thingy while sliding the wick in, and that helped get in done without pushing as hard against the mesh...

you mean it wasnt even inserted in both clamps??

Correct. Open those clamps with finger nail...
