I swapped out the copper star button from the purge grenade and stuck the star button from my purge viper in the grenade.

One thing I dislike about the viper is the button is sharp on the edges, due to button housing design. But in this mod it works out perfectly. I unscrewed button to make it protrude

It's actually not just a pretty Houston... it's anodized titanium, which already makes it pretty hard to find I guess, BUT... the auth card says Serial: Unetched, meaning there's no number etched on the top of the mod. I was told all of the unetched mods by Comp Lyfe are one of a kind, non-prototype, so in that particular sense it's the exact same as a so-called "1 of 1" mod. So nobody else but me can post real pictures of it.

Have you seen the new ceasefire switch over at platinumvapes?

Looks pretty dope I like that it has a lock feature, but disappointing that the new contact is not the same incase anyone wants to use a solid silver cont they cannot with the new design.

Only the button has any etching on the complyfe. This one has a black delrin button. Mod is light as a feather. Switch has an extremely long throw (albeit smooth). I don't seem to use it much since I got both slim and slam purges. I don't use any of my other mechs much now TBH.

I much prefer how the Low Rider button housing in black looks on this particular setup, as IMO it makes the heat treated anodized titanium really stand out just how I like it to stand out: fairly classy and somewhat laid back as opposed to overly flashy or bordering on the edge of kitschy or even downright dorky. The vast majority of Comp Lyfe setups I've seen were not really in line with my own personal style preferences... too fussy or cosmetically boisterous/forcing for me, 'overdone' almost kind of like, and, I know that that's just what Comp Lyfe factually is like, for the most part that is, but not entirely always so I'm happy they're not entirely always being like that.

@PaulS got me to thinking on my metal cleaner choice so went ahead and picked up some Wrights Polish and several others to do some testing. From an effort perspective and outcome the Wrights came in second to this one.




I got it on amazon and it was a bit more than the Wrights was. However it did shine up more and it removed some surface oxidation I couldn't get off a couple of mods with the Wrights. I will not be using the other stuff any longer and will only be using these two. Thanks for the heads up on that Paul. Mucho Appreciated.

Yeah it has sharp edges. Nothing a flat file cant fix that issue but for a $300+ mod I shouldn't have to file anything lol.
I learned to live with it, I still use the copper star button from my grenade mod on the viper because in my mental thinking copper has Less VD > brass.

Just remember authentic mods value stays the same, and can increase over time. Clones IMHO are always worth less, even it is a 1:1. I only grabbed the clone to see how well they did.
