Well, after a snafu with the mail, I got my 30ml "sample" today. Turns out that it was delivered on Saturday, and my landlord has memory issues.
Be that as it may, initial impression:
Surprise.
Ok, I know that's less than entirely useful, but I wanted to give it time before I do a full review. Nevertheless, I have grown into a bit of a juice snob and I was ready to thumb my nose up at this. I mean, come on, a guy who makes one flavor thinks that his juice is awesome... it still sounds weak and cheesy.
I'm happy that I had such low expectations, as it made the experience all the more wonderful. That sounds like an overstatement when I read it, but anything less would be dishonest. I stand by my original statement that $17/30ml is a steep price for an otherwise unknown brand, and, had I not gotten a sample, I probably would have never purchased this due to my own prejudices, but I can say without reservation that it would have been my loss.
Seriously, I switch between five pawns, space jam and suicide bunny. I mix it up with halo, people's vape and seduce juice. (I should note that I only buy same on sale). I also make sure to carry a suitable amount of "house juice". I work in an office, and I have no less than 5 flavors on my desk at any given time, where I drip all day. I feel confident that I taste a distinct difference between "house juice" and premium, and between premium and ultra premium. For me, it boils down to complexity, depth of flavor and nuances.
I expected this to vape like a house juice, but what I got I would consider ultra premium. At first, vaping at 40 watts on a vertex2 I tasted strong caramel. As I dropped it down to 30ish watts and below the caramel receded slightly, but the cream flavors became very prominent. All along the spectrum, while the flavor changed with the heat, it presented that curious depth and complexity I appreciate in the finest eliquids. A bit of a warning, this juice is somewhat like crack, in that I have given myself a definite nic buzz (overdose) due to the fact that I cannot stop chain vaping it. I need to go change out my batteries now, but I promise I will have a more detailed review of the flavor (as opposed to merely my take on its quality) in the coming days.
