I was thinking about coiling up the Glaz in a triple coil configuration and was wondering if anyone has had luck with that since the middle coil wouldn’t get any direct air flow.

I've done it in the Glas rdsa. Did like three .6ohm fused Claptons. Final was just under .2ohm. Also did the same in the triple v2 rta

Was to much vapor for my old lungs. But if you have enough airflow you should be good

I am the proud new owner of a Glaz v2. It was pre coiled and wicked by @VAPEROXX . I have no reason yet to disassemble it Andre Wick or anyting as it is still vaping like a champ with his custom coils inside. So can I put a 3 coil setup in there? If future reference should necessitate it. Just asking.

So you're referring to the RDA? I can't imagine why anybody would want more than to coils in the RTA but yeah thank you for your quick response. I actually owe you a personal apology. For being an ass in a previous thread. So my personally apology to you.

I haven't tried a triple coil build (my deck was damaged when I purchased it on VU) but I can assure you it lacks nothing as a dual coil deck. Great RDA/RSA.

And quite versatile, as it comes with a series post that mounts in the center post holes and turns dual coils into a series coil. Not my pictures, but here's how it looks:

According to the reviewer this turned a pair of coils that ran 0.125 as a pair into a 0.50 series coil. Haven't tried it (again, my deck is damaged and I can't tighten one of the center posts) but looks quite interesting for a stacked mech.

Oh man, I never thought to use the series post for a stacked setup...sure would be handy!

Yeah, I need to get my deck fixed or get a new one. I love this RDA/RSA and now that I just bought a stacked mech I'd really like to try it also.

Look at the post hole on the bottom right below the squonk pin and between the coils; the previous user tightened the screw enough that it broke the deck. Any ideas how to fix this?

Dang that stinks! Maybe a small punch could push the split back together enough to hold a coil tight. @gsmit1 may have some ideas too.

Wow, that's pretty thin over there. This is not actually my area of expertise. Maybe like getting a piece of 20 awg Kanthal, pounding or compressing the end flat, but still leaving it with some thickness, kinda wedging it in there and snipping it off before putting a coil in ? Or mount the coil, and then snip the excess. Sorta like a washer?

Yeah, I thought it was kind of thin also. I got it this way, but I doubt it took much to break that piece of the deck.

I thought about doing something like a wedge or shim as you described, but the height difference between the wall of the post hole and the center area with the squonk pin (the "other side") makes that difficult. I was able to bend the broken pieces back to a normal alignment, but I doubt it will hold a coil leg.

However, I just realized the way the series post works is that it mounts on a round plastic pin, which is the same diameter as the post hole. It might bridge the broken part enough to hold; there's no electrical connection there so I may be all right. I can't build a triple coil but I'm not sure I care. I do care about using the series block, and it should work ok. Thanks for the input.

Here's a great video from Advanced Vape Supply doing a series build on the Glaz. BTW, @IcepickMaker84 I hope I'm not hijacking your thread. But this may be interesting to you.

Wanted to follow up on the broken post hole in my Glaz. Steamcrave is stepping up and replacing the negative post and only asking me to pay postage. More than reasonable, since I wasn't the original purchaser.

I agree, that's good form on their part.
