Sometimes there is no why. It just is. I'm the same way with the Dead Rabbit and DR SQ, but the DR RTA I love.
Agreed, I didn't like the Reload S rda at all but couldn't put my finger on why, really like the Reload RTA

Got delivery today of the "closeout" Armageddon squonker I ordered.
I already had one exactly like it but could not resist at that price - so now, this one I already had is going to proudly join the small group of mods that go out and about and travel and take a bit more of a beating. The "Road Warriors".
Since it's got a brand new twin, I won't be worried about dropping it or a few little scratches, etc...

That combo is a knockout! I love the look of it.

Barrage rda arrived, and I LIKE it.
Went to see "what'd I pay for this, I think I want another" - and found that I'd actually ordered two, from different places. LOL.
Good thing I like it...the other's left China but not here yet.
Probably too airy for most people - and it's NOT adjustable! Fixed airflow...(like I said - good thing I like it).

What mods is this?

It's from 67 mods. Or 6ixty 7even.
There's a website, but it doesn't often have what he's just making now - that's mostly on Facefunk.

Also, the modmakers had some very weird communications glitches with people (thus "goober..." above) ...but I have a couple different mods from him.

Update - thanks @Just Frank for the prompt - the .Blank is back in rotation! Much much better with a different coil.
Maybe even didn't get cleaned well enough before - but honestly I think the coil was the culprit...
Now, I like it.
Super easy build deck. Very functional and simple afc/cap. It "locks" the cap in position, then you have like 1/8 of a rotation that adjusts airflow - no spinning, etc...if you go past full open, you're unscrewing your rda. Works very well.
Flavor, even closed down air, is not as intense as with a good small chamber, air-to-bottom-of-coil design - but that's to be expected.
I'd call it a "good" and pretty "flexible" (multi-purpose) RDA.

I have the .blank as well, what coil build did you use? I like it so far, just have to close the afc almost all the way for best flavour.

Mine got held up a week before it went out. I wasn't paying attention and the Aleader Rocket was "ETA 5 days". It's on it's way though and I love airy single coil RDAs. Can't wait to try it.

It's pretty nice - and it's flexible, airflow-wise.
I wouldn't say it's exceptional though - if you've got small-chamber 1-coil flavor atties that hit your preferred airflow, I doubt you'll like it better. I'm running it like half-open though - I like the draw of say an OG Haku or 22mm Flave wide open. If you like bigger air, it might be a great choice...

I like the Barrage better aesthetically, and I think the air (they're both unusual airflows) is a bit smoother on that...but that one, as mentioned, you have to be lucky and find the airflow in your range - there's no adjustment.

@Train ...how do you like the atty?

Looks like a winner anyway.

Got it....I'm on the same vape\wave\length, I too like the other attys mentioned wide open. It just looked like an interesting design.

Thanks man..!

Those are nice.

I picked up the door and button combo. Says for v1 but I'm hoping I can make it fit on the v2.
That's what I did. The door is ~1.5mm too wide, and the corners needed a little rounding, but not hard to do with a little sand paper.

Edit- I took the extra material off of the squonk hole side to line the hole up with the bottle a bit better.

Great! Thanks for that tip. What grit sand paper did you use?

Thank you. Sure I have the 150. Need to get the 1000
I also broke the edges of the squonk hole with the 1000 grit, it has sharp 90° angle cuts. I just gently sanded the outside edge of the hole so it is softer to the touch. Makes for a much more comfortable squonk action imo.

It's nice to see I want the only one that gambled on these. :)

Very nice!

I took less of a gamble though, I think. I did some research before I pulled the trigger. Found out the only difference in v1 and v2 was the v1 had a rib inside separating the battery and bottle making it wider (along with some cosmetic stuff like the button area is slightly different, and I think the magnets were placed differently) so I already knew the door would be larger than the v2 door. Larger works because you can make it smaller.

Another tip I got from Matt at Florida Vape Supply.
If you want a shorter throw on the firing button, they designed it to you can use a piece of a business card to shim it out. I used a piece cut from a credit card.
NOTE: For safety take the battery out when putting the shim in.

Well I have to be honest...
I seen the doors and put two of them in my cart and didn't even see that they were for V1 until I got the email confirming my order. Lol
But for the price I figured if they didn't fit I could use them for something else.

I didn't know they designed it that way. I used some scraps from my 3D printer and trimmed and glued them to the back of the button before swapping it out.

So obviously the magnets still line up? Or does it need to be tight enough that you don't need them?
I'm guessing they are aftermarket doors, the magnets are placed to go on the battery.

I shaved mine down to fit fairly snug, I think the magnets will probably hold it but just to be safe I would make it a snug fit.

I think the chance they're referring to taking is whether or not the V1 custom stabwood doors on sale for $5 would fit on a V2 squonk mod, which is also on sale for $20. The Armageddon squonk mod is not a gamble, it's a solid mech squonker and a hell of a deal for $20.

I assume click on the color that you want. In my case #2, #5. Then add to cart. But alas, theres something i didnt click.
