Pre Mix Base

Just curious since I'm just getting started, does anyone else premix their base when they get supplies in to make things easier? I was pondering mixing a base that is a target of 60% VG 40% PG 6 mg nicotine and assume 15% of flavoring using a calculator and just leave that 15% out. Then when I mix it, take the 15% minus the percentage of flavoring and add the additional PG to cover the difference. I have some 500 ml brown glass bottles I can store the base in and just thought it might make life easier.

Yep, me too. As Amanda said, makes mixing a lot faster, and you aren't dragging out more bottles every time you mix.

I'm also thinking of it from the perspective of handling the high nicotine base for as little time as possible, less chances for spilling and miss using.

I've been mixing up my high % nic to a usable base like you mentioned for a while... only issue I had was when I first started, I was a high PG user... as I progressed, I became a higher VG user and now I have several LARGE bottles of high PG base that don't get much use.... some day I may get around to remixing them

I make my base like others, but I don't account for the flavoring that would later go into it. The difference in mg for me is negligible.

While I've got some 50mL bottles of 100mg in the freezer I like to downmix it to 50 or even 30mg in a 50/50 pg/vg base and once it comes out add more vg to hit my target. The last 250mL mix I made was 16mg in 35/65 pg to vg. I was mising any throat hit so my new mix is back to 18 and added flavoring doesn't matter to me.

I'm late to the Me Too party. I mix a couple weeks' supply at a time in a squirt bottle.
I also keep a few favorite recipes premixed (flavoring only) in little bottles.
It is SO FAST to make a bottle of juice if you do it this way!

I sat down last night because I wanted something different to vape and literally made 2 30ML bottles in like 5 minutes, max. Such a nice way to do it.

It's a laboratory pipettor. I have a few. Basically it lets you meter out liquids at a precision of 1/1000th of a ml. I can easily do 1ml test batches of liquid with 100% accuracy.
