California vaping bill would ban all flavored tobacco sales in stores

The legislation unveiled in Sacramento, Senate Bill 793, would prohibit flavored products not covered by the federal ban, including menthol-flavored cartridges and refillable, tank-based vaping systems that can be filled with flavored chemicals. It would also outlaw flavors for combustible cigarettes and cigars, as well as for chewing tobacco and hookah pipes.

The measure does not apply to products sold over the Internet, including those sold by out-of-state businesses.

Seems to work about as well as other bans do though....

I think the FDA loves and encourages these types of state actions against vaping.
I will make their enforcement in May easier. As the number of vape retailers and such will be much smaller.
And states will be doing much of the enforcement for them.

Plus, just in case anyone missed what we’d been saying here for months, the CDC finally admitted that it was Vitamin E acetate in black market/counterfeit carts that made the kids sick.
So any ban or prohibition is un-needed.
