anyone else get 'bored'

Time and time again, I actually get kinda 'bored' with vaping. Or maybe just the flavor. It sucks being on a budget where I can only afford to have a couple few flavors. This is the biggest reason why I think I get 'bored' or maybe just burnt out.......I know when I smoked I'd have basically one option, shitty. But now I have unlimited choices.......I think its time I start DIY'n my juice........damn it........Anyone else go thro this too?

Not necessarily bored, but sometimes I just don't look forward to wrapping coils. Or I find an excuse to dislike my gear. So for me, frustration may be the more suitable term. But as long as I remember to drink enough water, the actual vape experience remains enjoyable.

I personally don't have any desire to start DIY with juice, but if you think it will help your situation, all power to you!

You should be good on your not smoking budget . I've really noticed the money I save on not smoking. Plus I was buying for two, I bought cigs for me and my girlfriend. Yes, getting into DIY juice is a good way to avoid the boredom. I keep several tanks on my desk, and I carry with me when I go some place. Each one has a different flavor. Vaping the same stuff hour after hour gets to the point you don't even taste it.

Yeah, I switch between deserts and fruits to keep my taste buds awake. More deserts as that's my favorite but if I don't vape a fruit every once in a while I get vape tongue and can't taste my juice any more.

Yes, I was talking about your signature. It says you saved over 18k. That should be enough to buy a car and all the vaping equipment and juice you need.

I save tons of money vaping and especially since I started making my own juice. It doesnt really matter though, since I spend the rest on red bull, front rubs, and cab rides getting back and forth from getting the front rubs.
I assume hes in the same boat.

Until I started with mechs and rdas, that itch was hard to scratch. I always craved a real cig in my 'tank days'.

I do not get bored vaping. Sometimes however if I vape to much on a menthol I like I do get no flavor in my mind so I stop and come back to it

The initial investment in DIY might seem like a lot, but it'll last you a good long while. I bought my first bit of nic and flavors about a year ago. I still have most of the same flavorings and probably only on the 2nd bottle of nic I ever purchased. It's a lot cheaper, so much fun and so much variety. I'm vaping flavors I never thought I'd like. If it's the route you choose, read up about different flavor companies and choose what you think is best suited for you. Less waste that way. Pauly offered his help, I will, too. Great DIY area here.

Ive come to enjoy it much more than I ever enjoyed cigarettes. Smoking was a burden, vaping is a hobby.
A frikin men! I smoked because I felt I had to. Like I smoked because I was bored. I vape because it's fun and a hobby and gets me socially interacting with like people

Check out the recipes section. That's one way to help you decide what brands of flavorings might be for you. Lots of great ones there.

There are RYO forums. Good ones. But not super active because once you found the right setup there was no reason to go back.

Vaping is different because the perfect device has not been invented yet. So we are all scrambling to find something that works better.
And flavors are like food. We eventually tire of the things we like when we vape them everyday.

Zippos, bic colors, butane, fluid... The Light Smokers Forum, Full Flavor Forum, Filterless Forum... boring.
Im boring, and boring people listen to talk radio. Id used to listen to the conservative goofs talk about politics and stuff, since that was the station I could pick up at my house.
They had a show on sundays called The Cigar Dave Show and it was awful.

On that subject, I will be listening to NPR this afternoon. Wait, wait Don't Tell Me is the name of the show.

Not boring at all but I still am!

Its a hobby for me, i really enjoyed it at first. got all into doing shows and all then got kinda burned out on it couldn't buy the fancey gear others had, and still cant afford new stuff trying to get back into it but not sure. sometimes you just need a break. but if your a smoker and doing it to not smoke you kinda need to keep at it, dont go back to those nasty cigs. i do it as to not eat since diabetic.

not bored with vaping I never get bored I would say tired of certain elements of vaping little things bug me now I have no tolerance anymore for RDA's that are hard to build on I just through them in boxes Even though I have been DIY'n for 17 months I am tired of it at the moment so just vaping random crap I am kinda to be honest tired of the flavor craze... I twas at the carwash yesterday and I did have out one of my better mechs and messing still with my Mutation x v2 and it has a .1 ohm coil and was blowing I think it was strawberry custard now 4 people said wow that smells great this was outside int he freezing cold here in Chicago area and they were 60 feet away it made me think will be actually crush our selves as vapors because the major complaint I get all the time even from those that smoke is "Ohhh god that smell what is that" hahah Im tired of many things and Im tired of that mindset and tired of being tired

Yep.. wrapping coils and/or re-wicking has become my biggest bane to vaping... Hate it with a passion.. But love the results afterwards :)

Holy crap! I smoked a pack a day and couldnt climb stairs without being winded.

Remember coughing up phlegm every 3 minutes and thinking it was normal? I had an eternal racking cough all day long. Im a bartender and I doubt it was attractive to my customers.

Lets say welcome to diy juice. I was running an orbit vortex. Decide to try my hand at juicing. A week latter I was into sub ohms rdas mods boxes coil building. Wow all this for I wanted a better mountian dew flavor. That was costly and loving it.

DIY some 10mg drink flavours and go sub-lingual. New Hobby !

Kinda like chew, its absorbed by the tissue. Then spit (otherwise you may get hiccups lol)

... TFA Cherry Coke is pretty amazing that way. And yes, there is a bit of a burn from the nic.
