I have A Fat Snow Wolf Black Rose Edition in the mail from a Amazon seller. Ordered early this am shipped this afternoon. Also ordered a 28.5 mm Tobeco Stillare RDA. Is this really the year of the 26650 mod--I have a Seigeli 20 watt with 26650 tube I like it and am using mnke 20 amp imr batteries in it. I ordered 2 mnke 30amp 26650 batteries for the mech

With 26650's, I feel like the real benefit is safety. Given that you use high quality batteries such as the MNKE ones you had mentioned, its going to be much harder to hurt yourself when venturing into sub-ohm builds.

Have fun with the Stillaire! It's a great RDA. One suggestion would be to drill out the post holes though, as they come a bit small for easy builds.

Little big for my tastes. I almost bought a Sparta but backed out because I just didn't want something that big.

They are too safe! My Kayfun shorted itself when I was refilling it. Didn't realize it, 1 activation immediately tripped the MKNE battery. At least let it get a little warm first to warn me before completely killing the thing!

Good call. I just got a Panzer 26650 (pictures are on this site somewhere) and it was a giant hunk of metal. I went to the local B&M to buy another 26650 battery and someone saw the mod. Loved it and offered cash for it, so I unloaded it. It was just too big. Made the Hades look and feel small with absolutely no sense of ergonomics.

I recently bought a hades 26650 off the internet and bought a battery at my local shop. I had it for a few days and loved the way it hit, how the battery lasted the whole few days I had it. It was just sooo big for my taste, I love my sleek Nemesis mod.
I ended up trading to a buddy that works at the shop for a new copper quasar and a VA copper drip tip.
Overall 26650 mods are amazing...for the right hands :)

I Have the 26650 tube on my Seigeli 20watt and I like the feel off it in my hand-but I have never used a mod with a bottom fire switch. We will see how the Fat Snow Wolf pans out. I plan to use 28 and 30mm RTA/RBA's. I order the Kamry 100 for my 22mm atomizers9cause it was cheap$]. Am leaning towards saving for an AR Mod as I was in the infantry many yrs ago. Ebay guy has a drip tips made from a 50 caliber bullet brass casing with a derlin taper top

I saw one on FB the other day that made other 26650 mods look small. It was ginormous!!!

I prefer reg' devices like the seven but the hades is my favourite mod. It's smaller than my 18650 panzer but the battery is over 5000mah and running a hades last all day

I saw this the other night. If you've got a moment scroll forward on this youtube video to 17min and take a look at the mod the guy is vaping in the bottom left corner! It's gigantic!

A few weeks ago friends from Florida visited with a gift. Six months ago I gave them a few V4L Zeus to get them to make the switch. Knowing I liked 26650 mods (been using a Bombshell Stinger for nearly two years now) they surprised me with the Helmsman. The button was a little crunchy at first but has broke in nicely with no misfires now. Being a chain vaper the big batt gets me through most of the day. A few more 30 mm RBA options would be great. Enjoy the day!

Whats not to like.............

............Just AMAZON.

Trouble with amazon is it's difficult to find where they're really based. There are china based sellers in amazon with local addresses, but obviously taking weeks to get the stuff to you and amazon doesn't seem to bothered about it. Whereas eBay is quite clear about where they are and delivery times (and there's the added pressure of actually providing a good service to the seller re: feedback)

There business moto is to steal customers from there partners that pay them the 15%. Then they go to there suppliers after learning about the product lines and put the original guy out of business. They have put most of the big name book stores out to pasture also. The thing is they are working on such a small profit if not underselling. There main goal is power not money at this time and dominate the internet. Many co. that sign on with them start making big bucks openning up there market 5 fold only to have it taken away by amazon and there mom and pop stores closed down.

I agree Amazon has caused a lot of good places to go belly up. Just like Walmart. We use to have monopoly laws in this country that had teeth. I guess things have changed.

Amazon isn't a monopoly. Anyone can do what they are doing. Like Walmart they sell on lower margin (sometimes) with trade off of huge volume.

Mom and pops suffer which is unfortunate, but realistically for about 90% of items id rather pay less and have it just show up. Some things which id like a personal interaction I'll go to a proper store. But with Prime and free 2 day shipping it's hard to pass up vs crowded stores and a premium.

To not thread jack too much, 26650s are amazing with the right build. I'd love to see a nice simple small form factor 26650. Think of a no nonsense mod like vanilla in the 26650 size.

Every 26650 mod I've seen is way to big for me to carry around in my pocket lol

Almost pulled the trigger on a Big Nasty but I waited a week and talked myself out of it.

HMM I have been ordering off Amazon for 10 yrs[I have been vaping for 5 months] The longest an order has taken to get to me is about 10 days[with free shipping over 35$ order]. Every package has had a address from a US state. I order things you could get in a bigger city like from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's-computer stuff [parts]I would have to drive 100 miles for[I don't drive now] and once in a while a computer or TV at a steal of a deal, that comes from the same place my best Buy would get it. Not to mention a selection I would have drive around the metro for days to find. There are a lot of reasons they are successful. E-Bay is alright for certain things-IMHO. Now do I buy every whole foods item locally that I can? Mostly. I paid a $200 membership to help a Community Owned Grocery Store Open someday in Town.

I don't mean to hijack the thread I will shut up after this. I always use to buy from them, and had heard bad things but never had complaints myself. I have a few reviews posted on Amazon as well!

There was a special on one of the major news networks last week. They interviewed some store owners that had opened up there products to amazon. They sign and pay a 15% comission to Amazon. Make a boat load of money the 1st year or less expanding their customer base 5 fold. Then amazon learns the market and hijacks the customers by going directley to the suppliers on the top items sold and undercutting the people they signed a 15% agreement with putting all out of business. They aslo interviewed top ex-board members or CEO, high top level people that use to work for amazon.

These guys admitted that it is their business plain to do exacly that. "What better way to break into a new market." Money was not an issue. A matter of fact they are working on such a small to no margin they are loosing money. Their objective is power and then dominate the internet sales with no compitition. Henkel Cutlery knives agreed to sell to them direct but pulled out when they started selling below there cost and competeing against there own suppliers. I am suprised no one else saw this. There goal is a monopoly. Their top ex-employees admitted it. Not one but several. They went on to talk about the book stores like the Barnes and knoble types that are all out of bussiness now.

OK sorry to hijack I thought it was important to back up my claims from a reliable us news show ...ha,ha. It was a half hour or so show just on this subject. I said my peice, no more, sorry excuse my interuptions!

.....

That's terrible. I'm sure there are anti competitive laws against global companies doing that practice.

Vape Mail. Its heavier the my Seigeli 20watt with the 26650 tube. With the bottom fire bottom it only feels natural with my dominate hand.

I had to cut my 9mg Jungle juice 50% with VG[I added a little pomegranate flavor] I built a .6 ohm dual micro coil. Truthfully it puts out a little more vaper then my Crown dual micro coil at 1.5 ohm on the Seigeli at 15watts. But this is my first Mech,I sure there is a learning curve.

Excuse my ignorance but what is meant by a 1:1 clone vs a clone?

Goes back to what makes a clone a clone. As I stated in another thread my opinion is a clone is an exact 1:1 copy of the original. Down to every last detail and size. A replica is a copy that takes the original idea and does something a little different. Panzer is a perfect example. There are many Panzer "clones". But my understanding there is only one 1:1 clone. The others have different engravings, logos and are actually a little bigger or smaller than the original. Which IMO makes it a replica not a clone.

I think this whole clone term is being used very loosely. If it isn't an EXACT copy of the original it should be called a replica. Not a clone. Maybe if companies started calling what they now call clones replicas, there might not be all of these issues.

Replica is a better term than clone really. Even 1:1 the metal or parts can be similar but different. I say debadged them all and call them "styled" ie "Panzer styled mod"

For those concerned about the relative size of 26650, the BFM from Bay City Vapor is just fantastic. It feels compact, which defied my worries about the size of 26650s. In fact it's shorter than other 26650s and 18650s. It performs better than any 18xxx, and for much longer. Plus the safety thing, as mentioned. With its compact size and magnetic switch, I'm able to fire it with both my left and my, ahem, "dominant" hand...

It's really opened me up to the 26650 "thing". I've fallen in love with the performance.

EH Pro Sledgehammer with a Cerberus RDA. That was one of the things that attracted me to this MOD was the size. It's not over the top as fare as size and, can use not only 26650's but,, 18650's as well. It's just nice to have longer battery life.

If it can't live comfortably in my shirt pocket along with my cell phone it is too big for me.

Probably the 26650 battery by itself doesn't fit that qualification... I have my daily carry and 26650 mods for "home use"...

I'm just going to toss this out there since I got the atty today. It turns the Hades into a hybrid dripped (direct contact to battery).
