Thanks for that song, man I forgot about that song it’s been forever since I heard it. She just oozed cool in the 80’s and I had a massive crush on her. She was scary cool and exciting, almost too much for my younger self to fall in love with. It reminds me of my teen rebellion, stealing smokes from my best friends parents, cutting school, smoking, drinking and imagining how cool I must’ve looked and if Joan ever seen me she’d think the same and we’d run off together for a life chaotic cool debauchery on tour with my first love. Well maybe second love, first would’ve been sweet pure feathered blond haired Farrah. I love how music can bring back feelings you haven’t felt in years. It’s the closest thing to a time machine we'll ever have. Anyway sorry for unsolicited “wonder years” story, I gotta go find an equally cool video to try an illicit some emotion for someone else, I’ll be back with a gem.

Ack, I’ve got a few things I’ve got to do, but thankfully they’re not in Manhattan! Since they’re closing everything down in the City though, it might affect me since I’m in one of the Five Boroughs.

I’ll try to, this is one of my favorite threads, mostly due to the eclectic mix of music y’all share. Well here’s an oldie but goodie, the voice of an angel.

hopefully I did it right, it’s been awhile so I’m a little rusty. Good to see all my vaping, music loving, friends, I hope y’all are well.

It’s very apt for now. Most people are only now thinking about what they’ve got or had, and how it’s all going south now with this virus. And for us vapers, with Deeming, which they’ll prolly forget to postpone so they can put the boot in.

That is why I love metal music and rock music- so much of my life listening to and getting to see these great bands and the best memories of my youth going to concerts with friends- plus being Harley riders, we were cool with all our leather, boots and bikes and attitude- lol! Plus we all had great muscle cars too.
I get "it" and have the same reaction to music too!

I haven’t finished the painting I started, last Wednesday or the Wednesday before that (can’t remember lol). But tomorrow I’ll be working on it again, don’t think I’ll finish tomorrow either because I’m putting a good amount of detail in to it. I’ll post the progress photo tomorrow. Tomorrow I’ll be out of the house all day long to get away from this madness at home! Probably hang out at my local vape shop. They have tables and chairs so maybe I’ll just take out my sketch book and draw random things. This whole situation is even putting a dampen on my husband and I’s marriage... he thinks everything’s fine with us, but I’m becoming more and more unhappy. I don’t want to/can’t be in this situation anymore. And there’s more going on too. I’m not in a good place emotionally or mentally right now. Feeling under appreciated.

We're doin pretty good, stayin in and away from people especially after yesterday, two more new cases today here so people are prolly still in the panic mode:eek:, thank you for asking my friend:hug:. What do your grands think of all this mess goin on? Please stay safe and be careful.

Hi Rhianne, I always seem to miss you:rolleyes:. I am doin pretty good and we are hold up pretty well, had 2 new cases here this mornin, thank you my friend:hug:. We aren't gonna haveta leave the house for a week but then my raw diet is gonna force us to go back out. With all the goin's on yesterday when Jean was out she was the only one with the brains enough to wear gloves and a mask.:gaah: No wonder it's spreading here.:rolleyes:

I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m not surprised it’s affecting your marriage. It’s hard having kids, but even harder living with the in laws, and especially since they’re negative. The situation really sucks for you.

Your hubs isn’t aware how hard it’s been for you? That would put a damper on things. Keep in touch when you can, even in our fam PM. You can get it out there!
