Going through photos on my phone. I found some old Check's from years past. Thought this maybe be a cool thread. Old hand checks and the story you have for them if significant.

For my first post it would be from our first family beach trip as a family. And we're only 4 hours away. But the boys first view of the ocean was great. I grew up at the beach so no biggie, but their faces made it worth it.

- wish I kept that blue erlkoenigin tank.

Me, Mrs GB, and @keithu2 in a bar/restaurant/vapeshop in Honolulu in June of 2015. I was there for work and brought my wife. I got to vape meet with Keith when I was in Honolulu previously and we met up again. REO Grands in hand. I hope you don't mind me posting the pic Keith. My wife has lost weight since then, I found it...:giggle:

My first, a Joyetech Ego Aio. As dingus as it is/was compared to my gear now I fell in love with vaping and never looked back. The moment the guy in the shop set it up, handed it to me and I took the first drag it was seeya later cigs.

Started vaping in March 2013, was mostly cigalikes for a while and then got into mechs, the silver one on the right was the very 1st one I bought, and still have it today, they was clones, so nothing special, and had a scare with one, when the 510 fell down onto the battery and vented, was nothing serious, but started down the regulated route after that.

Smart that you changed the drip tip on that. I had one when I,first started and my mouth kept getting burned. But I ended up getting a different setup, and all’s well that ends well. The Joyetech showed me that I could like vaping a lot.

So...you did not pass go, did not collect $200, you just went straight to mechs?? Wow. Nice looking rigs there.

Yeah from memory they used to pop and spit a bit at times. The batteries in them didnt have a long lifespan either. Still, was glad I made the switch. From those went to an Aspire K3? With a Cleito tank. Then the same tank on a Tesla 100 watt mini that had a protective gaurd around the tank. After that an Inokkin Crios Kroma A kit then I think the Scion 1 and then the 2. After that a whole bunch of different ones.
Onwards and Upwards.

I also got an Aspire K3 early on. I still like it, and I recently bought another one and a K4. In the morning, they’re a nice mellow vape imho.

Although prolly the best kit I bought early on was a Freemax Twister. It has VW and a great Fire Luke tank.

I still use and love the FL tanks, and some of the mods I bought a year ago are ones that I still really like and have bought several others of.

Once I knew Deeming was an issue here, I made a point of finding mods and tanks that I really liked and could use every day. So while I’ve bought high end gear, it’s the stuff I started with that I’m still using and enjoying.

Just googled it and no mine was a black K4 with the carbon fibre look going on. I gave up on it after I had a really bad run on dodgy coils that kept dry hitting and lasting just a day or two. When it had good ones in it, it was a lovely vape at the time. Nice and smooth firing too.

I have both K3 and K4 now. That’s just a Naut Mini on a Tesla Punk 86 mod in the pic.

I had the crappy coils too. The ones that were better afaik were the Triton Mini ones (for the K3.) I’m not sure which Cleito coils are good, since I just got the K4 this week. It’s like buying vintage vape gear! :teehee:

Do they have to be HAND checks?

First eGo, first eGo twist and Spyder twist.

My Jwrapped MVP, under the wrap, it's Camo. I still have it, it still works, but I removed the wrap. Topped with a Protank 2. I thought I was the shit with this set up.

First "dripper". I bought this to test flavors. Really only used it a couple times. Traded it to Dre for a Kayfun.

upload_2020-6-3_5-41-17.png

First and 2nd replaceable battery mods, also my first RTA on the right. Subtank was a nano, no RBA that I was ever aware of.

First contest win here. I still have this mod in the box, too. I love it. Fancy, huh?

First Pico. Still have it, still use it, got it when they came out. Love these.

What I once thought was an impressive collection.

Minivolt! Was a cool little sucker, but it died.

First fave drip tip that once belonged to our beloved Hank F. Spankman, also my first vape band. Had a broken foot in the pic, lol.

Can't find my Deadpool pic, but I also have Hank's Deadpool wrapped eVic VTC mini.
