Hello!
I'm Davide Cuni from Italy, I have almost 19 years old and I'm into Programming and Digital Marketing.
I started vaping 4 years ago, and my father (Michele Cuni) is an artist and a modder

I'm about to tell you the journey that brought me here.

It all began 6 years ago, when my father lost his job due to a cut in employees, he was specialized in wall decorations and paintings, we didn't have savings that we could count on, so he had to find a solution, and quickly.

He liked vaping and he is a creative person, so he came up with an idea, mixing art and vape, that translated into making hand sculpted wood mods, and eventually it became his full-time job!
He started from nothing but a block of wood, some tools and a garage, he made a wall made of cellophane and a sliding door, so he could keep a warm temperature inside.
And then, he started experimenting.

(2014, Garage, prior to the name Vertigo Mods there was MyMod, i know, it was an awful name ?)

The first mods were very simple and basic, but after a year or two, he started getting very good at it, to the point that the shapes were more and more ergonomic, and the mod's shape felt really good and natural on the hands.

My father always invents something new and unique, that no one has ever done before.
And no I'm not saying it just because I'm his son, he is excellent at his job, it's just, not many people heard of us.

These were painted by my sister, an artist, she works in the Animation Industry

There was a popular website in Japan that requested many of our best art pieces, the ones which were hand sculpted to the very detail, with additional hand chiseled silver inserts and laser engraved drawings inside the mod.
At that time, we were at the peak, my father was working every day and night to finish crafting his mods

But.. then.. as all of you know, the vaping market went down because of regulations and covid.

Well, now we are here. It has been a great journey!

Less than a year ago, I've started learning PHP, Javascript and CSS (Web programming languages) and i quickly went into developing websites.
In July 2020 I've published the ecommerce website for his mods and i've learned along the way how to optimize it for SEO
( Search Engine Optimization ) and we are very happy about it, if it wasn't for one simple fact, we have almost 30 mods in stock and no one bought them yet ?

So now we are moving on from the vaping industry, we are going to try in other sectors.. my father would like to continue with mods, but till the market is stuck, we have to find something else to do, sad story :(

Oh, I haven't told how I arrived here, well, I was searching places on the web to share my story.
If you really red all of this, you're better than me ?

Thank you for reading ?

Wow! Was all hyped to order one hell of a stabwood BF mod but total cost was almost $1000! Well worth it I'm sure, just a little bigger than my wallet right now.
... And I value my life! My wife would murder me in my sleep! He'll she probably wouldn't even wait till I was sleeping on this one.
