Hello! I have been thinking about a new mech mod for a few days but wanted some advice before making the purchase. I currently have a SS Praxis, SS Chi You, copper Pegasus and brass sting ray. I am looking for something in 18650 but also a mod that will feel new to me. Seems so many mods are the same. I'm good with any metal. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Wow! Love the price on the Fuhatten but I'm unsure about clones. So many different vendors make them so many choices, never know what kind of quality I'm going to get.

I tried out a fuhattan clone with the carbon fiber wrap, worked pretty darn good but it was 79.99.

Thank you, after reading and searching around for a bit I decided to order an Infected Mod. For the quality and being authentic you can't beat $100. I also searched for an authentic M6 but could not find a location where it was in stock.
Not to mention a lifetime guarantee. Holy crap, no one does that anymore.
You won't regret it. I wasn't just gushing in my article...the machining on this thing is a work of art. Over the period of a couple weeks, a lot of the grittiness of that media blasted finish will wear smooth, leaving behind a nice patina on the mod. I barely even use anything else these days.
I sent them an email inquiring about the Damascus steel mod. He said there would be some ready in a few weeks. They had to figure out some sort of treatment to the steel since it is not stainless, and could rust without proper care. I'm sure they will cost quite a bit more. A nice quality Damascus steel is not inexpensive like stainless is.
I've also been in contact with them about the Damascus steel version. I have it on good authority that it will be in the $250 price range.
Before anyone scoffs, that's a pretty good deal for what it is. I've found a few other (real) Damascus steel mods out there, and they're nearly double that price. That stuff isn't cheap.

I've been considering a Nemesis mod.....but I'm really not in to the spring loaded firing buttons. And I don't know a good place to get one, authentic or not.

I have a nemisis clone in the trading post here (hardware) it has the fat daddy magnetic upgrade It also has a few other things and a kayfun. I have all teh original nemisis parts included with it too.
even if you buy a nemisis authentic or clone else were you can get a magnet kit for it.....makes it alot nicer to use IMHO
I know spring lose there temperament after getting hot you can use magnets but they also lose strength after getting hot this is why I use alien power shrubs they work so much better.
