Whats your cost on DIY 30ml?

When I first started to DIY it takes a initial investment or your not gonna like what you've got and not have a good experience. After all is bought I'm thinking that a 30ml costs me less then $1 amazingly cheaper then what "the premium" juices cost.

Depending on flavor less than $1.60 for 30 ml @ 15 mg nicotine
500 ml 100 mg nicotine $50 with shipping. = 10 cents per ml
1 gallon VG or PG $27 with shipping = .07 cents per ml.

i use tobacco usually 4% but with 15% TFA apple and menthol the cost will be around 1.70 if iam not wrong ,anyway its still cheaper tho. i am still buy e juice from other vendor too..

It states it on the label but it's not on the description of the product and I'm sorry but it's the internet you can never go by pictures. Has anyone ever ordered gallon sizes from here... are they food grade?

According to my program, with 15.5% flavor, 10mg/ml, and a reused bottle, my costs are $1.66. This is with 8 ml flavors from WizardLabs, buying 500ml of PG and VG at a time, and buying 100mg/ml nic in a 120ml bottle.

I think you've got to keep your eyes peeled for vendor's sales and discounts, discontinued lines, (TW do yoyo and some of their cons aren't half bad), some vendors give daily discount codes via their twitter, some via signing up to their news letter, special occasions like the Olympics or Father's Day and then buy in bulk.

They have wholesale access to pricing, cheap labor, and retail wise they dont mark it up 1000% like US vendors do.
Vendors making ejuice in the US are making it with the same supplies and materials as any DIY'er would. Here locally 10ml of juice will run on average $8.99 not incl sales tax. 30ml of juice retail is $23.99 to $26.99 on average.
It costs me under $1.30ish for 30 ml depending on the flavorings used and how much flavoring Im using in a recipe. People are amazed when tell them how much the markup is.
Plus I use glass bottles. Sure, maybe they cost more initially but they have paid for themselves hundreds of times over. Everytime I reuse one the cost of it goes down. And the time saved vs. cleaning plastic ones is priceless. They dont hold old flavors and never break down unless you drop them on concrete... which I have sadly accomplised but just once thankfully.

If you dont like the prices make your own. There are plenty of places to buy Nic that ship to canada I believe. You can also get nic from china. Frankly, that is where the vast majority of nic comes from to begin with even if they say its usa made. Its not. (yah yeah thems fighting words for some folks... but those folks are wrong, period... lol)

Small Flat Rate: $19.50
Medium Flat Rate: $40.15
Large Flat Rate: $52.95
That's with $50 as the declared value. Anything more and you just add to that. So it is indeed a little more expensive to ship from the US to Canada, so it's best to find someone in Canada or someone that has access to better rates. UPS and FedEx to Canada from the US in ridiculous.

i have been pondering doing my own batch of juice...so I did the math as per the recepie I want to do....I can make a gallon of 6mg nic with 20% flavoring for under $300, glass bottles included....if I were to buy the juice I was going to duplicate (or at least try) would cost me $2750.....I think I like the math....holy shit balls Im getting bent over....

I wouldn't say bent over lol - there's a lot that goes into vendor pricing. I agree, some are quite high, but it's not as simple as the cost of PG, VG, Nicotine, Flavor, Bottles and Labels. If that's all we had to worry about, then I'd say $20-$30 for 30ml would be nuts - no argument there.
The last few leases for a shop I confirmed were between $1,500 and $2,200 a month and that's not in a high traffic area / zone. If I paid myself a flat $10 an hour, working 10 hour days - there's another $2,000 on top (I have to eat, live, take care of my family), so $3,500 to $4,200 being paid out per month there if I took one of them. That's just an empty shop, I would still have to invest a few thousand more to get the shop set up for business, or, if private, for mixing.
That's not including all the other costs associated
. DIY is, of course, always cheaper - that's why DIY'ers save so much - they don't get hit with the potential burdens of fluctuating business and insane leasing costs.

Don't rent a BnM location, rent a kitchen by the hour to produce your yummies, then sell on the net, and TO local BnM's. Also, you should value your time at $25 an hour when your in a BnM as an owner, so refigure what your sales goals would need to be. If you intend on selling other items, find a great bread and butter set of items and plan your profit on them, that way you can watch your crafted yummies life your company to new levels. Brick and Mortar can be a nightmare, once you find a good place, then its negotiations time, and don't get suckered into a NNN lease. I will agree, that after cost of labor and overhead, its semi reasonable for some of the costs, but I don't believe I will be buying anymore one ounce bottles that cost over $15 dollars. When you see this post, send me a conversation message, I will share one of my wifes great ideas with you, something we intend on implementing, and would not mind sharing with someone who took the time to share with us.

Leasing costs are fixed operating expenses that are budgeted for based on sales, or projected sales. Start up expenses should never be included in operating budgets. Those are recouped from annual profits. Its a cost.of.doing business that is only recouped based on success. Adding those costs to everyday overhead and increasing product prices is usually ill advised for small/med businesses unless high demand can compensate.
The highest margins for any shop is on juice because that is the most consumeable product the shop sells. It has high turnover rate. Therefore, in reality, it should be far cheaper than what most places price it at.
If you make quality juice it will sell itself, and lots of it, therefore allowing for reduction in price so you can sell even more. However, where vendors have people snowed into believing they cant reduce price even if the juice is in high demand. They should, but they dont because its so profit loaded.
Now if a shop makes swamp water or doesnt know how to sell or market right then costs skyrocket because every sale you do make is essential to survival.
If I had the bucks I could open a brick and mortar in Buffalo and sell at HALF the price of vendors here and still make tons of money. Here 10ml on average is $8.99 in a.plastic bottle and that is obscene. I did the math wholesale and I can do 10ml in glass on average for $4.99 retail and still be at 100% profit margin. Labor included. I wouldnt even have to sell mods to turn a large profit over the long haul.
I applaud vendors for creating jobs and all that but the numbers are out of whack and the profit margins on juice are outta line.

I dunno how some of you people can get flavour down to 1 or 1.6 USD per 30ml. For me, my flavour is about 6 CAD for 30ml. It'd be a little cheaper if i bought 4oz bottles, but not down as low as 1 or 1.6 USD

At 5mg level, 30% flavor, mine's $1.91. Since I use half the nic and twice the flavor, might be roughly equivalent.

Larger quantities are definitely the best way to save money -- I was paying $10/120ml nicotine; when I bought a liter for $25, it made a huge diff in bottom line costs. Most of my flavors, I buy in 30ml sizes, but sweetener, 120ml. I expect I'll be moving to that size for the ones I use the most, TFA's DX Bavarian and Vanilla Swirl, and the price will drop still more. I use a great deal of INW shisha strawberry, which is rather costly, but since I started buying 100ml/$22-ish, it's saved a lot.

Never did the math, but I figure each 30ml unicorn bottle is probably around $1 (I make my batches 250ml at a time). I think the number of flavors and amounts used is one of the biggest factors. Buying in bulk is the best way to save money, but only if you are not throwing out old nicotine, unused flavors, etc.
Flavor prices must be through the roof in Canada. Cheap flavoring (I can't imagine you're using FA at 30%) can be had for about 10 cents/ml, which would put you at $1.00/30 ml in flavor alone - another 25-50 cents in nic and a few cents in base puts you right in that ballpark even for juice with an insane flavor volume.

Any VG or PG that has USP on the label is medical grade %99.999 pure vegetable glycerin. USP stands for United States Pharmacy, meaning the FDA will act if it is found to be impure.
I found by accident a great source for VG, and flavorings. A soap-making supply shop. Here in Canada at least, soap ingredients must be food, or pharmaceutical grade. The VG is USP, and soapmakers use certified food flavorings for the scents. There are some really nice flavors available, that can be found no place else. And they are dirt cheap. I got a 4 OZ bottle of the best chocolate I've ever found, for $7. Beware, they are super concentrated. I thought I'd start at 5%. Wrong. It was vile. Because about 0.5 to 1% is what to mix it at for standalone.
I believe the VG was 8$ a liter.
