It needs something on it, or it shows that.

These devices allow you to easily test cartomizers and
atomizers without having to use a multi meter. To test the ohms of
your build simply screw on a cartomizer or atomizer and this tester
will show you the ohms. This is a great tool for testing ohms for bad
cartomizers or atomizers. The ohm meter will read a 1 in the first
digit to the left if there is no current flow through the device.
These devices are accurate to +-0.2% and will read from 0.01 to 9.99
ohms. Our ohm readers will work on any atomizer or cartomizer that has
a 510 or a 901/808 connection. Extensions or adapters can be used to
test other atomizers or cartomizers as well as eGo style atomizers and
cartomizers.

I tried pulling the contact up a little but still nothing. I'll just get a new one if i can't fix it. I'll mess with it later. They're not that expensive.

Yeah CaFF, i did my atty on it, i tried all my atty's on it and all i got was that 1 on the left. So maybe the contact on my meter is bad or something.

From what I read, most of those read "1" on a short or if nothing is attached. WHich would also show if there is a bad connection.

If it's from FT, check the comments thread for it...likely lots of ppl have had it happen too.

Sorry, I've never had one of those..I just use a DMM or my SVD.

Found my 'ol Smok RDA clone. It had a 1.8 ohm build on it, I didn't like it.

Took a wrap off and made it into a 1.5 ohm jobber. Re-wicked with JC as well.
I figured it was 32 gauge kanthal wrapped on a syringe. So, somewhere around 1.3mm or so. It's now a 5/6 wrap.

Very micro-coiled, this.

I have an old RTA somewhere that has two posts/two holes and basically is set for a DC or u-wick going into a bigazz tank below. It holds like 10ml.

I can't remember what it was called, but imagine a CE2 that's an inch across and you're close. :D

All polycarbonate tubes and o-ringed together..lol

It's a POS I picked up at DV ages ago. But, we didn't have FT or clone parts to fuck with things back then. Hmmmm...I'll have to find it.

I got mine, too! I had a moment though when one of the negative post screws would not budge. Thank goodness for the tall heads on these screws because I had to grab it with needle nose pliers and twist it out. Anyway, because I'm running low on my fav juice, I built it on the high end at .6 What resistance did you put on yours? As said above, they're all juice whores!
