The two companies are sister companies. P4Y was suppose to be like the Acura where Sigelei is the Honda. That is why the P4Y is always a slightly higher priced product. They have similar features but the ipv3 is upgradable and is at 165w currently and could possibly get another upgrade. I voted for the ipv3 because I have one it has never given me any issues. I also like the more precise screen readout for the volts and ohms after the upgrade. The Sig comes with a 3mth warranty where the ipv3 has a 6mth warranty both are covered by Asmods I belief. So in a whole they are pretty similar with the Sig having a little bit lower price tag and you would more than likely be happy with either one since yihi is a dependable chip.

Yeah I did notice that they have the same chip in them. I was really hoping I would get more people to respond to this thread....

Actually I think that the Sig has the sx330 v3 and the ipv3 has the sx330 v3s because the Sig is not listed as being upgrade able.

Well I think either way you go you should be fine.

Currently have an Ipv3. Do I like it ? Of course but I'm also picking up a sig 150. Why? Because I'm an asshole and I like the the way it looks in red so I have to have it the button and magnetic cover is a plus.

I don't understand why the Sigelei wouldn't be if they had the same chip... I know it would have to have a micro USB port though. But, I really don't need the extra 15 watts, unless I want to be an asshole like @Scooby and say that my mod has more watts than your mod lol. I'm probably going to eventually go with the Sigelei in the end. Gotta wait a couple weeks though.

Yo scuzzlebutt, did you get one yet?
Oh yeah! I decided to go with the Sigelei 150W. Knock on wood, she hasn't failed me yet! No complaints whatsoever. Just been loving it! My mech mods are currently collecting dust lol. Battery life on it is pretty killer! Obviously if you run it at higher wattage it won't last as long.

The two big things that I like on the Sigelei over the iPV3, other than looks, is the fire button and the screen layout. I've read here and there about issues with the fire button on their Sigelei 150W. I haven't had any issues with mine. It's just a really clean, well built mod.

Its the same chipset from Yihi the only difference is really the buttons I prefer the buttons on the sigelei but like the feel of the IPV V3 better the best answer is which ever is cheaper that you can dea with the buttons

Yeah and considering you can find a Sig 150w for 89.99 shipped all day long the Sig is a great value where as the ipv3 is still in the 99-109 range. So it is little surprise the Sig is selling so well especially when the build is very similar to the ipv3.

lol yikes on the electrocution.

I hear ya. I don't use the ipv3 to its capabilities I would have probably really enjoyed a dual batt ipv2s, but hey my ipv3 is never getting stressed to its carrying capacity. I only updated it to the 165 for the display.

I have to admit I am pretty upset with mysef I ruined my IPV V2 saturday night at a cloud blowing contest I was in charge of recording the contestants and dropped it from way high this time if screwed the board up so I am thinking now is the time to take out that sensor and see if I can get it working on the IPV V3 it appears in software functional solder it on and find out either fire or sensor why not for the hell of it ;) I am kinda crushed that IPV V2 really was a work horse for me

That sucks. Always a shame to see a work horse take its last breath.

If you do modify the TS in the ipv3 I will be interested in learning of its success, as it was the only feature I was kind of mad about when the pre-order stuff started getting removed.

I just got my sigelei 150 and it's everything I hoped for. Soooooo much better than a mech mod. I had a dual battery unregulated mod and many mechanical tubes and my biggest issue was always with ramp up time. Anything over .3 took too long to ramp up in my opinion. With variable wattage it's not an issue. I have a .4 at 70 watts right now and it's fantastic. I'm never going back to mechs. I bought the 150 shipped from Elev8 Vape for $90 shipped. Get the 150. If the extra 50 watts doesn't entice you, the silicone sleeve is worth $10 all day.

Sigelei hands down. Even though they have the same board the ipv3 reads higher with the update like .5 higher. And Sigelei looks better. But I own the Sig 100 and ipv3

I just got a sigelei 150 and im happier than ive ever been with a mod. I paid 125 including tax, but since this was my first vape purchase of over 50dollars, I wanted to both support my local vape shop and have their support if anything would go wrong. Im lucky to know the guys there and theyve done returns for me before, so no long wait if it shits the bed.

I agree, I have mine at .5ohms and the vape at 70-100watts is fantastic. I was a mech guy for a long time and this blows them out of the water. Too strong, turn it down, too weak turn it up. Plus, id only run my battery down to 3.7ish before changing batteries. With this, my batts go down waaaayyyy lower with the same vape throughout.
