So I made the leap the other day and purchased myself a ipv mini 2 70watt with my Obama money. With this i purchased 2 Efest purple 18650 35A 2500 mAh Batteries. Also purchased a nitecore d4 charger. Now my question is did i go the wrong route on batteries. I was perusing the forums and read that these particular batteries may say 35A, but really its only 20A. If this is the case then which would be some good ones i should buy and from where. I know everyone's going to have their own opinion but that's all good. Any help here is appreciated. And if it counts my next purchase will either be the Sigelei 100w+ and maybe a decent mech mod.

You're ok with the batteries you have. My preference is for the Samsung batts.

thanks, zamazam. I was looking for a place to buy discounted batteries. On the note of batteries, I am using LG HE2. I see LG has HE4 batteries with the same specs as the HE2 with a nominal cost difference. What's the difference between the 2? Or which is better and why? thanks, sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread.

You can go to a 0.18ohm build @ 20a (70watt) continuous with those batts.. You're good.
