Coils get this bad after a day or so. I don’t use sweetener in my liquids. I’ve seemed to pick up this issue when I switched to fused claptons. Back when using standard claptons coils would last at least 3-5 days. This problem persists through several RTA’s. Any advice?

One day is pretty fast for that kind of gunk build up but not uncommon. I enjoy a certain tobacco flavor that will make my coil look like that after a day. I also don't add sweetener to my dyi juice but have found that certain flavorings have more sugars than others. Lastly, fused claptons and aliens allow very small pockets of juice to burn where regular round doesn't. Having said that I can vape one of my homemade juices for over a week with fused claptons. In your case it's certainly a combination of the juice your using and the coil switch. Keep in mind that some people will take 50 puffs a day on their vape where others might get up to 100's so it's hard to compare your usage with others.

Thanks for the input. I’m gonna spin up some Kanthal fused claptons… thinking it might have to do with how fast SS ramps up.

Yeah good thinking, I missed the SS part of your post. Is your vape hotter with the SS or are your pulls shorter? I only use SS in temp control mode so there's a more controlled ramp up and cut off.

I switched to SS seeking longer battery life, thinking it wouldn’t spend as much power heating up.

I think you need to increase your wattage to at least 45-50 watts. Looks like juice is cooking instead of vaporizing.

I like my juice sweet, too, but I've run coils for MONTHS and they weren't as gunked up as that. Even the Met4 Golden Ticket that I've been using (which is quite sweet) hasn't done that to any of the atties I've run it in.

Yes, that's more like it. Glad to see such a big improvement.
