Vape related mortality

Uhhh, so what happened to all the vape deaths?? Once, vit e acetate was pulled (from black market bootleg week cartomizers..) l haven’t heard of a single instance. Not one.
Look it up, more people have died from taking selfies than vaping.

Now, Denver’s got an out-of-control mom pushing for total ban on flavored juice… because she saw a text on her daughter’s phone about a juul; doesn’t part of being a parent have to do with teaching your child about life’s dangers and disciplining them when they fuck up? I’m not sure why that isn’t her focus, but instead she wants to control her child’s environment by impinging upon my rights?? That hust doesn’t work for me.
It sounds like they both need their phones taken away, for starters; and maybe a nice long mother/daughter retreat to hot springs state park where they can dig for jewels together..but because mom’s a hater, they don’t get to keep any they find.

I have a better hot springs vacation in mind for those of that ilk; how about the hot sulphuric acid springs of Yellowstone National Park? You know... the areas currently closed to the public because the truly stupid will wade right into the stuff.

simmered off the bone...l used to live in Jackson and every year somebody would do that or try to pet a bison or bear cub or fall off a cliff taking a selfie..
but yeah, a soak in those pools and it wouldn't be long before those girls were goo. Maybe a little harsh, but don't mess with my Hawaiian POG...
Ironic thing is it wouldn’t surprise me if she had a fog machine among her Halloween deco's and all the neighborhood kids had to make it through the foggy gauntlet in order to earn their candy ba..I mean box of raisins...
l wonder if her proposed ban would include 0 mg nicotine juice as well..

Of course it would. Vaping is a gateway to smoking, don't you know. Plus, vapers 'could' inhale toxic metals, because it says so in little tv ads. Besides, the devices & coils & everything contain nicotine, like it says in the government mandated warnings on them.

We can't start letting reality keep us from banning stuff, for cryin' out loud.

Excuse me now but I have to drive my grandchild to the new marijuana dispensary.

It also leads to H addiction. So, "they say".

Yep, or you could try crossing the street and get hit by a bus too. I figure without looking up all the odds & research that such is about even. Yes it does and might happen but usually with a bit of common sense is so mitigated to be minuscule a chance of risk.

Besides, the devices & coils & everything contain nicotine, like it says in the government mandated warnings on them.

Uh huh and we sure ought to trust a government that covered up a secert service agent accidentally killing J.F.K. for over 50 years. Trust the same government that in the 1920s promoted and aggressively encouraged force sterilization of the undesirables as a means of family planning. This same eugenics policy was nearly identical to what one Adolph Hitler later used as part of his Final Solution campaign. Yeah, of course we ought to trust our government. Point of fact we ought to trust every human, all of them capable of being corrupted, mistaken, lacking.

We can't start letting reality keep us from banning stuff, for cryin' out loud.

Oh sure we can. Here's how. We quickly sneak in and replace everyone's agreed on reality with our own artificial one we created. Ta da! No one will ever be wiser. All we need to do is uh, lie, gee golly what we're good at anyway.

Excuse me now but I have to drive my grandchild to the new marijuana dispensary.

Damn it, now I'm maybe feeling that thing called jealous. I could stand to enjoy a healthy bowl, or few of that myself. Life has just been so damn, blah, "fuck you asshole" lately.

By the by, in case you missed it welcome my version of Sarcastic Bizaaro World. It's a place where shit that makes no sense at all, actually winds up making sense. Not sure how it does that yet, but um, ... well, it just keeps on going.

And no, vaping has fuck all to do with me enjoying the relaxation found by using marijuana. I used it long before I vaped. Currently I do not use it. Not that I couldn't barring certain apparent laws, which are being peeled away state by state. Would I still vape if I could use? Yes. Would I use if I didn't vape? Yes. So no, vaping has not one damn thing to do with it.

People died because of certain chemicals being put in vape juice, so they want to ban vaping. People die because certain people don't use their firearms responsibly, so they want to ban them. More people die in traffic wrecks, yet I don't see anyone try to ban automobiles. People die all the time by walking straight into traffic while staring down at their phones, and they ain't trying to ban cellphones. I wonder why that may be.

People can die from breathing too. No banning that.

This also touches on something I've run into working as a custodian during a "pandemic". Another custodian didn't approve of my using a bucket of disinfectant mix (disinfectant mixed with correct ratio of hot water), a cloth rag to wipe, toilet seats having no lids, off. I've worked food services for at least 20 years, wife's dad maybe 40 years, wife 20, her mom maybe 50 or so.

We have a very good idea about what is accepted as cross contamination or not. We know that given the scenario above the health dept would not "call" you on it, there's so minimal a risk as to be non-existing. Meaning the way I was doing it is perfectly acceptable. It saves resources and time as well.

What I ought to have asked this OCD custodian was "so how do you feel about fecal matter hoping 30 ft or more on an uncovered toilet flush?" Because, yes it does. How does one stop cross contamination from that? Oh that's right put lids on toilet seats and teach kids to cover the toilet before flushing.

Will that happen? No. Should it? Maybe but I'm not anyone with capacity to make it so. My opinion also is of little merit. Am I going to "rally" for it? No. Not my "monkey, or circus".

I just find it so f'ing hilarious all this bull shit.

Follow the money, big Pharma is pissed because they didn't get all these devices listed as medical; in some circles they're already called electronic drug delivery devices, then it's my E nebulizer, and with mindful use and some self control you can break it down into metered doses. Aren't there Devices that uses ultrasonic sound waves for relatively low temp aerosol dispersion just like them old misters? The key is in the droplet size; after that's dialed in, it's just a fine-tuning for whichever volatile you want to aromatize.
I've been strictly concentrates for years until someone gifted me the big bouquet of flower, decent enough but my tolerance requires a higher octane, so I've been crumbling wax into it and rolling joints, not quite caviars but they knock my socks off, it's just the combustion! I haven't coughed and hacked like this since I was smoking Newport's.
I can vape all day every day and never hack and spit lung butter down the shower drain.
But guess who's also losing money when people are buying Vape's and Vape juice instead of cigarettes… all the companies making lozenges and gum and patches, not to the mention the death eaters who make Chantix...

l concur - except l firmly believe just like everyone has a b-day, everyone should also have a bidet. Imagine never running out of TP - all those extra trees to gobble up CO2 and then fart oxygen?
Also, it helps to find the right sanitizer ...

This is what we use. I also use bleach water in toilet bowls & urinals. I do not flush it on the night shift, swish the bowl clean with bleach water on a bowl brush & let it set over night. If bleach sets for more than 10 minutes it can kill H.I.V virus. Letting it set over night ensures it has a chance to kill nearly anything.

Misco who makes E04 disinfectant also makes an E09 which they do not list for sale on the site. It is a stringent de-greaser based detergent. There is also a different version of E01 they do not list that is called EZBrite.

For general purpose mopping I use a mixture of the three, each mixed with proper water ratios. If a floor is really in need of shine, more E01, needs more dirt cutting more E09. Generally though I use more e04 so as to ensure floors are sanitized & clean.

E04 is a good all around cleaner/disinfectant. Not that I'm selling or promoting it. I'm just conveying experience working with it.

No, that's too sensible. You have to ban alcohol (kids might get it), ban skateboarding (might hurt themselves), ban fast food (might make them fat and lazy), ban candy (might give them tooth decay), ban sex (kids might shag their dates), ban cars (they might get hurt in a wreck), ban swimming (might drown). You have to take everything away from adults so kids can't get it. You have to create a clean, sterile, safe world for tha children, dontcha know. The innocent little kiddies. Don't let them go outside. They might look at the sun and go blind. In fact, should they really have dangerous, unwise parents holding them back? Ban parents, give the kiddies a totally free world.

I have a friend who is a sanctimonious twit. We all have one or more of those. She doesn't like discussing anything as much as she likes to pontificate and walk away.

So when she told me of her nephew whose vape exploded in his car and ruined the front seat and dash, she stuck her nose in the air and walked away before I could tell her how vape equipment comes with an instruction manual that includes safety measures, that you can't have your vape bouncing around in the drink cup with loose change and keys, or banging against your cell phone, or whatever her lamebrain relative did, nor should you leave lithium battery items in a car with closed windows on a triple digit temp summer day in south Texas.

So I spent a week gathering and emailing her articles about laptop explosions, cell phone explosions, 9 volt battery explosions, Bic lighter explosions, hairspray can explosions, one after another for a week, until she finally replied, "okay, I get your point".

John Doe lives in the city. John one day wakes and goes out to the sidewalk. He looks both ways twice and thinks he can cross the street safely. He steps into the road, a bus comes and runs over John. John now lies interned in the city graveyard.

Moral of the story? Don't be like John and think. Thinking kills.

One must realize that the source of the disinformation about vaping is only part of the problem. The main broadcasters are the indoctrination centers around the world IE: colleges and universities where fresh young minds are ripe and ready to be brainwashed.

I just love it when they try to argue their points with those of us that are old enough to be their parents or grandparents. They don't stand a ghost of a chance. Yet, more keep showing up, thinking they are the next "Neo" to take a stand against us.

The indoctrination starts in junior high. If honest it really starts in pre-school & kindergarten. Schooling in the U.S. somewhat mirrors what was began in the U.K.. In the U.K. they borrowed from the Prussian system of education.

That system instills a doctrine of soldiering. It was how Prussia at one time had one of the world's best military services. Prussia and Germany are also where we get psychology from originally, at least the "modern" version of it.

All in Prussia is where the birth of the idea of "human resources" comes from. It was here where people first modernly became seen as chattel, a commodity. Note I'm referencing this in terms of "modern" tense. I'm sure this was all done in the past, before 1800's, as well. Then, people really had no idea of such machinations "behind the curtain/s".

No, I've no ill feeling toward Prussia / Germany. Simply referencing fact based history and observing. Consider kindergarten translates to garden of kids(children).

Further consider Edward Bernays used to write for Adolph Hitler. He also promoted Bayer aspirin. Bayer aspirin was handed out without any warnings, instructions at the same time the Spanish flu hit. No telling how many were flu deaths or aspirin overdoses.

Germany also brought us chemistry with its motto of "better living through chemicals". Hitler used soldiers harvested from the garden of kids that were fed *************** (speed). Better living for sure. Figure you can now see how I connect the dots and frolic in looking back to see ahead.

But of course, I'm skewing the view here. There have been wonderful and good things come from all of these other evils. For one we got plastics, oh, maybe not so good. Well it helps medically or can be used so. There was a broader scope of better biological understanding brought about.

Medicine advanced through use of chemicals & chemistry. But we also discovered germs, germ warfare, biological warfare. Consider how SARS mainly affected Asians. Gee, wonder if that happened naturally? Bah, ... I digress.

Ought to watch myself, might start thinking. Ever stopped thinking and forgot to start again? :)

Vaping morality? Is it moral to desire saving lives? Moral to demand an end to social inequality? Not here to offer answers. Hopefully some others get that brain matter going from my asking. That's where I am, everywhere and nowhere, here and now, then and when. Find me in the mists of the verges if you can.
