She passed away yesterday evening, my oldest daughter was with her when she passed. She led a long and wonderful life and she'll be joining her husband of 60+ years in heaven. My wife, daughters, and sister-in-law got to see her one last time yesterday. I was able to get a priest to administer the last rites before she passed.

My wife is taking it well so far as I think she saw it coming.

So Sorry for your family's loss of your wife's mother and now she is in heaven joining with her husband- prayers to all for peace and strength in this difficult time.

Sometimes, it is good for family to be with a loved one when they pass. My mother chose to be alone when her time came, sending my husband and I out of town. It still hurts nonetheless.

Remember that she is never truly gone. Each of you carry a piece of her in your hearts.
