I do not judge...that is my Bosses job. Coincidentally...I have Adonai Elohim and Deus Meus Et Omnia inked into my skin. Although I am under no authority of the Diocesan See or their Holy Orders....I do find myself in the company of conservative Catholics. All one has to do is look upon the rapidly aging population of our Parishes to understand that the Catechism and Liturgy need to grow and evolve if the One Universal Church is to exist at all in the future. Whilst the Sacraments must remain unchanged, the policies and attitude MUST. This is being ardently addressed by our Holy Father as we speak....the most recent consistory which is in progress can and will, not only attract new Catholics, but also dispense with the stodgy pre-Vatican II atmosphere which has done nothing but create two generations of fallen away Catholics. I have the ear of many seminarians and know that Francis's reforms are being greeted with guarded enthusiasm.
Be consistent for chrissake. Just last night you claimed to judge and stated erring biblical authority to do so.
Suppose we agree to disagree. Further discussion will serve only to bore others with no interest in the subject.
Allow me to say this and I'll let you have the last word.
Your ink is only that. Ink. A decoration of the temple of the Body.
The present Pope, as well as Benedict and Paul VI does not in any way represent the Lord.
John Paul came close but even he is suspect.
The present libertine attitude of the Church is naught but an effort to be universally attractive
but does not represent the words of our Lord.
We, the former Catholics, are not fallen away. Rather, we have rejected Satan in our midst.
Of course former Catholics don't contribute to the basket from which all the clergy, at least in the states and Rome,
live high on the hog. The Catholic Church was once the wealthiest organization in the world but no more.
Like the Ants they want your tithes.
Since you claim to surround yourself with conservative Catholics yet praise the attitude and reforms of Francis
I only further doubt the veracity of your calling and question the conservatism of those Catholics and seminarians
which you say have your ear and greet Francis' reforms enthusiastically.
Your Holy Father is not my Holy Father. Your Holy Father is a man in a robe
who claims to speak for my Holy Father in Heaven and all around and if we're worthy, within us.
Elohim was not born in Argentina or Rome nor does he condone certain things I'll not bring up
due to my respect for the rules of this forum.
If you feel you must claim to represent our Lord in order to keep your stability, then again I applaud you
for it's better than lithium or Prozac.
I'll leave you with this:
Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, Matthew 24:5, and last but not least; Matthew 24:24
I don't expect you to understand or agree with me. You're surrounded!
But recall if you will, the prophecies of Malachi.
Respectfully,
HazyShades
