Starting to smell a rat here, the lady who rear ended Jean either didn't report it to her insurance for some reason or her insurance company isn't any good. It's been 5 days and they haven't even called to ask about it or to see if Jean is alright.:mad:
Hope everyone is well and havin a great day :)

Jimi- did you report it to your insurance company?

Despite the circumstances, whether you are at fault or not, you should always call your insurance if you are involved in an accident. Whether you have found it damaged while parked or in any other unfortunate circumstance, you need to contact your insurance immediately.

Should You Call The Other Driver’s Insurance Company?

If you read the car insurance policy contract, you may have noted a sentence that’s something along the lines of "Report any and all accidents your covered vehicle is involved in." It’s a direct instruction for you to call your insurance whenever you are involved in an accident.
With that said, you do not have to call the other driver’s insurance company, only your own. Informing your insurance about an accident protects you from a multitude of potential problems such as:
  • At-fault uninsured drivers
  • An insurer denying you coverage for failing to notify the company in a reasonable amount of time

Yes we have talked to ours, just wondering why, since it was a rear end collissoin, that they haven't called Jean to get her details

Yes they should have contacted Jean by now I would think. I have never been in an accident, so unsure of the steps. My son was in a horrible motorcycle accident where he was run off the road by a car being chased by police on the expressway- of course the car was stolen with no insurance, our insurance paid for the hospital and the bike, we insured the motorcycle. Lucky he wasn't killed.

That's crazy, good thing you had good insurance on the bike, yes it's very lucky he didn't get killed.

Little dark cloud, following Jimi
Go away cloud, blow into the sun
Unlucky star staring down at Jimi
Go bad star, fade in the night sky
Little worry worm whispering bad luck
Go away worm, eaten by a big bird
Big fluffy cloud, rain on Jimi's taters
Bright lucky star reflect in Jimi's eyes
Fat little earthworm, enrich Jimi's garden
All make haste, make it all better
Bring the joy, love, luck, to Jimi and his Jean
