Dadof6sons scammed me. I broke my own rules because I wanted a mod sooooo bad lol you know that feeling. He sent pictures even one with the date on it and his name obviously photo shopped. He insisted on friends and family should have been my first warning. Then I asked when I could expect shipping and he said his cousin had one for sale so that sent the big red flag up for me. So I searched a little and found the pictures he sent me on a old Facebook post. So I told him and now silence. Moral of the story be VERY careful when posting a looking for something post.

I know the feeling, been down that road with a newbie that was selling a mod and RDA. I was only half scammed. Sorry to hear your misfortune. Going to put him on my blocked list. Hmm,not a VU member? I found the member, put on my ignore list!

I ordered an item from the actual maker of something sharp, it was promised ready back November 30th, 2021 and shipping the next day.... Fast forward a good, long time and it is supposed to show up in come 02/26/2022 and the actual tracking number is working and moving along- Yeah, have to watch everything these days.

All of these accounts are somehow connected and all are newer than Dec 30th 2021
The accounts below are all banned now unless one has a DAMN good reason for them using the same ip(s) multiple times as an already known scammer.

All of these meet the same requirement. all shared ip's with the scammer, 4 of the 5 have the same age, all joined around the same time, and all used many ip's from Nigeria which is one of the scam capitals of the world.


Previous scammer and possible (same birthday & IP) scammer:

I realize as an Admin I am not supposed to step in the middle of any sales but I'll be damned if I let some shitbag scammer(s) take money from people on this forum without trying to at least do something to stop them.

The same guy hit me up yesterday about my post looking for a Jenna drip tip. Said he had one for $80. I laughed at him and told him he could keep it at that price. Dude was kinda pushy and had no real personality in his messages. Regardless, had he put a decent price on what he said he had then I probably would’ve bit too. Sorry OP for your situation, just letting you know that you aren’t alone in having a run in with that guy

This dude on Youboob has absolutely mad hacking skills that he uses to go after scammers.
It makes me smile to see the bad guys get swacked once in awhile. ;)

I saw one episode where he had this Indian scammer literally begging him for his files back.
The scammer thought he was a little old lady whose bank account was about to get drained. Instead he bullshitted with the scammer for a few minutes while wiping the scammers entire HD. 🤣
That channel has given me hours of laughs.

You have that wrong. For future reference, It's F&F you want to avoid when not dealing with trusted people.

  • Paypal Friends and Family (F&F) has no fees and also has no buyer protection.
  • Paypal Goods and Services (G&S) is what has fees (that the seller pays) but allows for buyer protection.

I can tell you one thing if it is vape related it doesn't make any difference which way is paid. Both accounts will get locked. There is NO protection on any vape related purchase.

Well actually, I often wondered this myself, until someone on reddit told me they successfully disputed a vape (classifieds) transaction they paid via G&S. Paypal is a gamble no matter what, though and I'd be afraid to dispute a vape transaction.

I've heard of this too. He's or she's lucky. My buddy had over a grand in his paypal when they locked his. Been 4 months or so now and he is still fighting them for his money.

Paypal's been a real bitch in recent months. Your buddy should get his money back in 180 days or so. But no telling with Paypal. But out of curiosity, did this locking of your buddy's account have anything to do with a vape purchase? If so, would like to hear more details. PM is OK.

That's what I figure as well. Who's to say that the scammer isn't going to be open and honest about what the deal is I'd rather keep my PayPal account. I can live without using it for vape stuff but my cats supplement powder they only take PayPal. So I figure there's no protection anyway. If someone's dirty enough to scam you out of money for a vape product then they're dirty enough to tell him what it's for too
