A friend of mine got home from work, grabbed his nemesis (clone) mod with a plume veil on top, sat down to watch the news. Presses the button to have a vape and nothing happened. He pressed the button again, and heard a hiss. Opened his hand to look at the mod, and it exploded. It blew the fire button off the mod and blew the atty off the top at the same time. The battery shot out landed in the corner of the room and proceeded to burn a big hole in the carpet. He got a towel and grabbed the battery and tossed the thing outside.
The atty embedded into the drywall, and by looking at the trajectory, he said it missed his wife's head by inches, as she was sitting next to him.
I questioned him about the mod such as, "did the fire button stick"? no. I asked several questions about the atty itself. Then I asked him what kind of battery was he using. He said, "I don't know, maybe one of these"? He had a mod with a kayfun on top. I pulled the battery out of that, and it was a TrustFire battery.
He had tossed everything in the trash, and I asked him to dig all the stuff back out so I could have a look at it. This happened a week ago. If I can get a hold of the blown up parts, I will post picts.
So far, the moral of the story, and the cliche that may ring true is, don't buy batteries for vaping that have the word "fire" in the name.
Buy high quality batteries, also buy a high quality charger, not some 4 dollar piece of shit. If you can't afford those two things, or your a cheapskate, you probably shouldn't be vaping. just my opinion, take it or leave it
