Plug your phone or tablet into the PC and see if it syncs.. Is it the spring loaded one?It says it is the Sync/Data cable. How can I verify?
Yes, the exact cord and yes it does work to sync my phone to the computer. In fact, it even shows on the Cloupor screen that the USB is plugged in.Plug your phone or tablet into the PC and see if it syncs.. Is it the spring loaded one?

Then I wouldnt know.. Hopefully someone with a T8 will come along..
Doesnt need a driver, maybe, does it?
I got a new Cloupor T8 and am loving it, but I cannot figure out how to get my computer and the Cloupor to sync. Any help out there?
What options were you able to change?HOW TO FIX:
I just messed around with this for a bit and got my cloupor t8 to sync and actually change my LCD screen... sadly I could not find the update thoughbut at any rate, here is what you do: take batteries out of the mod before connecting to PC! it should automatically show the welcome (matrix) screen indicating that the device connected successfully. However if this does not happen automatically, simply tap the fire button 5 times (like you would to turn the box off/on).
Hopefully this will help!
I found out that there is a driver for it. Below is an email from Cloupor customer care. Also, the options available for change are included in the email. What options were you able to change?
Since there is no firmware update available, I was happy to try it. The biggest thing I wanted to accomplish was to get rid of the puff count. Having a time display now is nice and moving the other displays around on the screen made it easier for me to read. Being able to change the boot-up screen from the little matrix looking thing is a plus as well. Will be interested hearing how things go
The time of day.what exactly did "time" turn out to be anyway?
And no, it does not lose the time when you change the batteries. I have no idea how long it will keep the time with the batteries out but since it's the same on board charge that keeps the puff count, I am not that worried about it. It is kind of nice and comes in handy when I'm on a "smoke" break to know when I need to get back to work.Thanks. I've just recently thought that having a clock on my T8 would be nice since I don't wear watches and occaisionally I'm not on my computer or near enough to my cell phone to just grab it.The time of day.And no, it does not lose the time when you change the batteries.
