Thanks, yes I am.... sad part.... now I got to have a kidney. Liver and lung.... those are the hardest two !!!! Hope he's doing well. I had mine at Vanderbilt in 98.
I'll be hoping for the best as well. I couldn't imagine having to go through something like that. Best wishes to you

JM.... It wasn't until a few years ago that I found out that when you have a transplant... it changes your DNA.

Try 2 transplant 10 years apart 2 donors we had to go to Madison and its still a learning curve

The learning curve for me was , what was just side affects from the meds, and when something was really wrong.

gets pretty scary, my sons white blood cells think his lungs are a virus and they have no clue what to do just trial and error
