Kanger Subtank Mini Battery Question

I have been vaping for a while now, and I am currently using a Kanger Protank 3 with the iTaste CLK 1280, and I just ordered the sub tank mini. I was wondering if this will work with my current battery, or not. I am not familiar with sub ohms, or ohms at all I don't really know anything about it. So I was hoping you guys could help me out! Thank you!

The iTaste CLK 1280 only fires down to 1.2 ohm. The subtank heads are 0.5ohm, but it does come with a 1.2ohm head and a rebuildable deck. The 1.2ohm head may work on the CLK but I wouldn't count on it as 1.2ohm is the estimate, it could be 1.1ohm or 1.3ohm.

So would it be better to get a different battery for it? Im really not sure what most of this means, Im sorry.

Yeah, an eleaf Istick 30 watt box would work well. They are less than $40 and can fire down to 0.4ohm.

A specific battery is only able to provide you with so much power.

The kanger subtank is not really suitable for the little battery you have as it requires more power to operate within its range.

You need a device that produces more power to use the subtank.

For the subtank you need a minimum of 30 watts to be able to power it with the .5 ohm coils..However if you opt to use the 1.2ohm coils less power can be used but its always better to have more than you need so you arent pushing a device constantly to its limits.

I recommend getting a 30 watt device and using the 1.2 ohm coils that come with the subtank as an optional coil.

Two of the most popular right now have to be as mentioned the E Leaf I stick and the sigelie mini 30 watt which is what i would personally choose.

Thank you everyone! Are there any batteries that aren't as big that would work well with it? I take my ecig like everywhere and like the size of mine a lot. I think I am going to order the i Stick, it isn't very big is it? Its around 3 inches? I looked at it a good amount, and I've always stuck with the pen style batteries and Im terrible at judging the size of things online.

The i stick is about as compact as its gonna get for the money.

Bigger than a ego type battery in width and depth but not sure about height really...possibly around the same height.

Okay, I think Im about to order it. A ton of websites were out of stock, but I found one with it at $35 and I think I am gonna go ahead and get it. You guys know of any good places to sell batteries and tanks? I have a few I never use and need some extra money haha. And thank you for replying so quick!

The istick 30 watt is quite small (smaller than it looks in pics) and is a perfect fit for the subtank mini. Honestly, you'll be surprised how compact that setup is!

Thanks! The battery is supposed to get here today but the mail came and it was not in it, so hopefully it turns up. My iTaste battery stopped working even with my pro tank, so that sucks! Hopefully my new battery will get here today!

Your making the right choice. The Istick 30 watt is the best all purpose battery for the money. Please make sure you buy authentic

Unless your itaste is just dead, you might check this video as the subtank may have pushed your center pin down too far and the protank just doesn't contact anymore.
