I like helping new vapers. I was one once and I keep in mind what it was like when I first started . All these sayings and terms we use were very daunting to me. I bought what seemed at the time a big complicated vapouriser called a Lavatube mini but I never used it for months as I didn't see the point because my slim ego style ecigs did the job.

I also saw complicated juice tanks which they called Genesis so I bought a couple, watched a YouTube tutorial and built a coil which looked like a 4yr old had made. So I went back to easier tanks which has ready made coils in them which was the safest thing to do I think.

But that direction can become expensive. And so over the course of time as my interest grew I realised that the ego batteries didn't give out enough power and died too soon and that having a tube or box where I can carry a spare battery was much more convenient.

Same with juice tank coils and wicks. One day I followed exactly a YouTube video by GrimmGreen making his own coil and mine then came out perfectly and I haven't looked back.

I also make my own juice 99% of the time.

Hey. Just wanted to say sorry I'm hardly been here since ny. I've just had so many commitments this year. I write software and spend a lot of time staring at a computer screen and when I'm done for the night I just want to turn my pc off and stare at something else. Netflix usually.

I think perhaps I should ask for my moderator status to be removed as I'm not actually moderating? So anyway, I hope everyone is getting on well. I'll try and catch up with all my inbox msgs err, eventually.

Sorry to hear that Hobby, please reconsider?

@Hobby Kid - I completely understand.... this is a volunteer gig, and peoples lives are busy. We respect and appreciate the time you've spent both participating here, and serving as a moderator.... you've been a wonderful asset to the Forum. As @Whiskey said, we'd love if you wish to reconsider, whether that's tomorrow or six months from now--the door is open! If life calms down a bit, and you'd like your old job back, please hit me up any time, and it will be my honor and pleasure to reinstate you. I wish you all the best, and hope you'll peek in and grace us with your presence as often as your busy schedule allows.

Thanks @TygerTyger i appreciate that.

I did say, everyone, that I'd like to continue joining in with the forums discussions. But I'd felt quite awkward these last couple of months to sign in because I was unable to commit to the moderator status. This way I feel less pressured. So you might see me more now lol.

See you in the forums :)

yay! :)

Hi @TBCAmor! Are you still running? Bit cold out there for it. Thanks btw
You better believe it. Been snowing pretty much all week, isn't supposed to stop until next week, so it's been brutal. I passed a dude on cross country skis going up a hill the other day, lol. Lately jumping through snow has been worse than the cold.

You still running, and getting the P.T. In? I'm guessing you are, unless work is kicking your ass. Again, good to see you around man.

@TBCAmor its nice to be back on here thanks. I've been up late every night giving wordpress another chance as that's what users want their sites made in these days. Yes still run an hour every day except the last week as I've been ill. I also hurt my knee on the way home last week. I was so tired and I tripped up the curb and fell flat lol. I was too tired to even feel embarrassed. Was that you who had plantar fasciitis? I was just wondering how that is in the cold. We haven't had snow here. I'm on the south coast.

Sorry to hear you've been sick, and bummer about the knee. I know how that stuff goes, it can take you down for a bit, just stupid careless injuries. It is me with the P.F., and the bastard is still hanging around. I finally got a foam roller, and I've been hitting my calves good with it. Calve tightness can be a cause, and I have almost golf ball size knots when I roll. It's one of those good pains, and weird, since the spots on my calves I can feel the tingling on my foot. I know for me, the calves are definitely part of my problem, and hopefully working them can heal the underlying cause. Anyway, foam roller, I highly suggest one.

Glad you're keeping up the running, and again, good to see you around man!

I'm much better now. Ran with some friends tonight. You know that refreshed feel you have when you've rested. It was nice. Yes I know those foam rollers. A trainer showed me how to use it to help me with my knee but when you roll your leg on it, it bloody kills! lol. I think you just have to persist and do whatever it takes to get better though. This guy came in the changing rooms tonight singing very loudly "I just want to be successful" lol. just a random comment there. I'll rest tmrw and work instead. I started watching Oceans 12 tonight and fell asleep with my head hanging to one side :D traing takes it out of you doesn't it. So tmrw I'l be online proper instead.

Glad you're good to go and had a good run man! The foam roller does indeed hurt, but it's a good pain, and feels better after. With the amount of pain I've been running and living through for close to two years, it's no big deal. I should've gotten one a long time ago. I got out in the cold and snow pack today. I can deal with cold, I have good gear, but jumping through snow up to your ankles and sometimes higher is fucking awful. Today I saw one other runner, crazy like me, but then it was four snowshoers, and two cross country skiers... I gotta get one in tomorrow, too. Gonna be a challenge.

wow. I gotta hand it to you. I can freeze even in the summertime but that's just me being a nancy lol. Taking a day off from anything really isn't my thing, exercise or anything. I like to keep routines, then things get easier and you beome better at them. Plus keeping routines keeps me sane. My mate runs with dumbbells sometimes on a treadmill. That's crazy isn't it? That pain you have - aren't you meant to stop when you start feeling some otherwise it doesn't go away. And "snowshoers"? hoes in the snow? :D

I hear ya man, four pairs of tights, two nice thermal tops, and a nice running jacket, along with a full hood and mask topped with a beanie, and the cold isn't a big deal. Just the damn snow pack, and those hoes. Lol. And my feet don't bother when I run, just after, typical of the injury. It really is finally improving from foam rolling, and that should hurt a bit while doing it, but feel better after. If it hurts after, you did something wrong.

I hear you on the routine. Keeps me sane, too, though I get stuck in it too much sometimes. Gotta find a balance, but making exercise routine, you feel wrong not doing it. And I cant imagine drum bells especially on a treadmill. I already feel like I'm gonna fall of those things, I hate em'.
