VapeOholic 150w mod (vapeObox), has anyone tried it?

Don't know squat about that mod.

For about the same price you can get a Sigelei 150 watt which is known to be decent mod.

For some reason the vapeobox looks a lot like the sigelei 150 w. Could if be the same chip?

I'm actually wondering myself about this box too, from what i seen, heating tests vs sigelei 150w and IPV3 are awesome ... coil turns red way faster ...
Copper contacts etc make it look more on the quality side for me.
I'm waiting for an answer to a mail i sent them about a question im asking myself though ... are the batteries in there in serial or parallel mode ... this would explain the extra fast heating, but sound a bit dangerous around 0,1 ohm and 150w to me.

Whatever it is, it's got the exact same crappy 510 that the first Sigelei 100w had. Otherwise it looks pretty good

I'd bet that is a Sigelei. Sig will do custom boxes for you if you have the quantity. The guts look exactly like my first gen Sig 100 (rock solid 510 I might add), from Eciggity with double magnets and a door with no screw holes. All the buttons look like they are in the same place too.

Looks like the cover for the electronics is pretty much the same, the holes for the door stops in the same exact places, same battery tray, same battery copper contacts, exact same stickers in battery tray with the same writing.

I think it looks nicer than a sig 150

Yeah im definitely not used to high wattage boxes (using IPV2S actualy but batteries really wont last long with any dripper), looks like they all use batteries in serial mode.
I admit that this scares me a bit but looks like you cant reach this power without it.
I was personaly wondering if i should buy the brand new IPV4 for the price or the Vapeobox that seem to me more "solid", im not too much into sigelei.
Any advice please ?

Tbh, with a closer look, it really loks like a rebrand as robert said, and price is the same, plus i have to admit im a huge fanboy of VapeOholics so ... id say both worth the same.
The fact is i was more thinking about the IPV4 in order to keep my banker happy but i think i just won't be reasonable on this one ... i need a truly powerful box to fit with my newly recieved drippers

I'm with you. I am a VapeOholic fanboy as well lol.. But someone said it comes with a none floating 510? Does that mean I would need to manually screw and unscrew the 510 pin in order to make it fit some tanks or RDA?

Sounds like it ... they give extra pins with it so it mean you can unscrew them but usualy you set it once and for all except if you use several attys on the same mod.
For my part, problem solved ... i became reasonable when my friend proposed me a brand new sigelei 100w he just tested and was lying in a box ... for 30 bucks ! im happy and drip well

Wow sigelei blew my mind once more ... after half a day dripping on it ... my resistance started to move strangely ... 0,3, 05, 04, 05, 03 ... i did my coil back and again and again ... nothing changed when suddenly i got the message : check atomizer ... the pin dont wanna know anything more ! box dead after 12 hours ... thumbs up

I have one of these box mods and I honestly sold my ipv4 and my sigelei 150 cause it didn't hit as hard as this box. I am planning to buy one in every color. For some reason this box when I run my TFV4 or any RDA at 50 watts it really is hitting more like 100 watts and at 60 it's more like 120. With my Hellboy RDA on a .15 ohm build I turned the box up to 150 watts. My friend that loves hot vapes said after a 2 second pull that it was way to hot. The cotton was dry after 1 hit doing a 4 second pull. Buy this box.
