Has anybody had any experience with these? Are they really 40A and what is the continuous rating? I saw this on imrbatteries.com

It just seems that there are a few battery manufacturers that have no qualms about bullshitting the public on the ratings of their batteries. It would only seem right to be up front & honest about them, as once you get a rush on buyers purchasing your "40 amp" batteries, & they find out you lied to them, how many do you think are gonna come back and buy more of the same bullshit?

I don't understand the thinking of some makers of so called "super batteries". Do they really think people are that gullible, & don't do any research on their own?

Unfortunately, a lot of people don't do the research. It sucks, but all we can do is our best to get the word out.

Yup, that one could be really nasty. The only saving grace is those batts are pretty safe when you over draw them. OTOH, I don't buy Efest or any of the other re-wrappers that exaggerate amp ratings.

Sounds like watts on audio equipment. 1000 watts peak music power!!! Crap like that, yea...

That audio comparison made me laugh.

Ages ago, I sold audio equipment.

And part of the spiel of course was the power of the amp and the range of sound in Hz. Low to High.

Too bad that human ears can't pick up the range that the amp and speakers are pumping out.

I bought a pair when they first started selling them.
20 Amp continuous.

IMO, MAH is over rated. They don't last as long as Efests I have. Getting ready to order a pair of Samsung 25R's and a pair of MXJO's.

IMO, don't waste your money on the Vamped batteries.

It burns me up when batteries are missleading. Something as important as batteries should be the most up front and honest sales as possible. For the safety of the consumers.

Vamped makes batteries for the Vaping community... the competition guys typically look at pulse ratings over continuous ratings... and the pulse ratings of the Vamped cells are for 60 seconds (according to a letter I read on another forum, and can probably relocate if desired). Unless you guys are holding down the firing button for over a minute, on a mechanical mod, I'd say they're a safe 40 amps for your vamping needs.

Vamped cells are not re-wraps of any other batteries on the market, from what I've seen. In fact, the only batteries with identical specs are the purple Efans, which are just a manufacturer "relabel" to get in on the money from the same cells. According to Vamped, they worked with a Chinese manufacturer, and the cells are a proprietary cell. If you look up Efan, their sales website states they are a manufacturer; which means they are likely the people who make the Vamped cells, and are just "relabeling" them as their own. It's a similar story for Imren, but that's another topic.

I've used the purple Efan "relabel" batteries, and I've enjoyed them. The battery life sucks for all day low resistance vaping, but they're definitely quality cells. If you want to give them a try, just know they aren't going to last you very long. On the upside, the spec sheets claim the minimum voltage to discharge them to is 3v, which means you can basically milk these batteries for a while longer than most. Do that at your own risk, but I've not had a problem with killing them prematurely after constantly discharging them below 3.5v before recharging.

Meh, just my two cents.
