Shit, you're lucky to get ten minutes of viewing time in. It seems every time we try looking at anything on Netflix we have to wait a month until it decides to let us get past two minutes without dumping us out. But hey, we're getting Netflix free through T-Mobile, so I guess Saul Goode. Not like Netflix really has anything much we like to look at anyway. I've been looking at our local MEtv feed over digital OTA.

Hogan's Heroes, Andy, Green Acres, Adam 12, Dragnet, Perry Mason, Highway Patrol, Mattlock, Beverly Hillbillies, ... all the good old decent G rated shows, even Beaver. Yay! :D

We also got a digital "Pinpoint Weather" broadcast station that runs the current and daily forecasts all day long, no political bullshit, no crashes, wrecks, no school shootings, no random acts of protest ... gotta love "clean" -- "programming".

It's almost as good as ... Infochammel!

Last night I had to tell my wife, "oh yeah? Fuck you too." She watched the latest episode of Masked Singer. They unmasked the Gnome. Oh, man was that a bawling fest.

Just got rid of Netflix and Hulu from my Roku. So many great free channels, why pay for it- lol!

Nielsen even recently said Pluto tv surpassed Netflix per subscribers.

We dumped Hulu. I use a couple $5 monthly services. Paramount + (Viacom/CBS) and Peacock (NBC/Universal) both have these basic plans. Peacock did offer a free tier, but they've done away with that. Pluto is part of Paramount, Tubi tv is from Fox (they run FAST, but too many ads after having sworn to be restrictive on ads), Vudu/Fandago is from Wal-Mart (they offer some stuff using FAST like Pluto), Redbox has a FAST aspect.

(FAST = Free. Advertisement. Supported. Television)

Thought I would need to subscribe to AMC+. AMC itself has Mayfair Witches though, kind of disappointed. I want to see a live action in the flesh, Juliean. *grin* Not sure who will be found to play that role.

Agree though, for the most part, there is a wide berth of free content on Roku. I think the ~$100 Roku tv is worth the buy too. It lacks voice control but still worth it as the Roku OS is coded into the set itself. Seems to work rather well with our T-Moble 5 G WiFi router.

I think the apartment complex offers some form of cable service. Not been bothered to inquire. We get all we need using Roku.

We are about to dump NetFux. Most of the new stuff in genres they say we are interested in are Hindi / Bollywood movies we would have to read because we can't understand. The last time we even watched a Netfux movie, we had to reload Netfux twice because it shut down.

Yeah, and NetFux as you put it doesn't seem keen to offer anything anyone really wants to see. Not keen on Hindi / Bollywood myself, nor am I keen on all the Woke ass bullshit the NutFux board of investors want to bash folks over the head with either. Political correctness has just gone too far. It's fine to politely ask, "have a little respect".

Another story when Morgan Freeman asks a white Jewish interviewer, "do you want a white man's month, a Jewish month?" He's got it right, too, "how do we end racism?" "Stop talking about it."

Nah, instead keep rubbing salt into wounds long healed. Keep picking at it and stir up infection, fear, hate.

Hmm, reminds me of a simple country expression. "See the big dog sleeping on the porch?" "What do we do about it?" "Let it sleep."

Ever notice in D.C. how you got alleged bums working a corner, "oh poor, insert race/minority stereotype here, us" walk around the block to climb into a chauffeured Cadillac? And these folk are the ones milking Social Security and Snap, Welfare for all they can get as well.

I'm not denying that yes, there are decent folk what do genuinely need help. They ought to be able to get help. What I'm expressing is what most are aware of, the whole system is rotten core to skin.

That's why I advocate turning it back around on them. Stay peaceful, lawful, just use the system "they" created to crush you, to garrote them. Give enough rope, ... ... every time.

Bah, sorry, I'm off elsewhere here. Funny to me, anymore, seems to be how backward and stupid the world in general has become. Even then, not so funny.

*sighs* I'll hush.
