I have said from the beginning of the vaping debacle that eventually there is only going to be 0.25% of the population that smokes.
The Government(s) are going to have a LOT of explaining to do when at the same time there are 10X as many people getting lung cancer.
There are a shitload of ignored factors. For instance, the Du Pont Paint (place name of your nearby factory with pollution pouring out of it here) factory that spewed toxic chemicals out of it's smoke stacks creating "smog" from the 60's to 2010's in Baltimore, or the Baltimore "Incinerator", used to burn medical waste, drugs from the polices seized drugs, used needles, etc... was operational for over 20 years from the 70's to late 90's.
None of this shit can be "good" for anyone's lungs that grew up within a 75 mile radius of that area from the 1960's until 2019.
They used to test weapons at the Aberdeen proving ground... until one of their bombs accidentally blew into a bunch of tanks of mustard gas that they had seemingly buried there decades before but then "forgot" about it. They come on TV like: Oh, That mustard gas is "old" it won't hurt you. Feel free to fish at the dam that shares a fence with the place. You can go ahead and eat those fish too, you're good homie!"
When I was a little kid there was a train derailed in my neighborhood. They had to evacuate the entire neighborhood for a "dangerous chemical leak" that "Turns into a gas that can be very harmful" but somehow were able to send us back home the same evening.
We've been human test subjects our whole lives when it comes to this sort of thing.
