Just arrived yesterday and I'm blown away for a couple reasons. One, this is one of their "Slight Imperfection" models that runs 30 dollars cheaper than the standard. Two, the slight imperfection was so slight I needed to use my wife's loupe to find it. Three. dual battery with USB charge is my dream come true. As a chain vaper, even with my ipv2s, i was carrying an extra battery everywhere I went.

The fit and finish on these things is silky smooth. Running your finger over where the body and backplate meet there is only the slightest bump to tell you that you're not holding a bar of aluminum. After going back and forth between these and a flask, I couldn't be happier with my decision.

Straight from hanamodz.com, it was 179 for the SI version, 209 for the "pristine"

damn - still more expensive than I had hoped for.. for that price I would probably go with the VS rDNA (if they ever fix the TC screen issues)

I went back and forth on that, too. Saw a couple of pictures where the rubberized coating was coming off and decided I didn't want to deal with it.

IMHO, way, way too much for a 40 watt mod.

If you really want the temp control feature and you like the mod, well, to hell with us, GO FOR IT!

with all that $ they just got in that court case, they can afford to send some replacements out lol

I use the temp control exclusively now with nickel OCC coils from VaporShark and nickel on my rda/rtas. I love it, haven't had a dry hit yet. Compared to the other temp control prices, 179 is less than any I've found.

IPV4 will have TC and its about 100$ .. obviously not out yet and no one knows if it will actually work, but something to look for soon

The specs look solid but I can't get passed the visuals. It looks like what people in 1980 thought tape cassette walkmans would look like in the future, or the shoes from back to the future.

haha yea to each his own! i think its a welcomed change to the same old box mod type design.. i like innovation and I would gladly buy some pump up high top shoes if they came back!

Just as an update to this, the dual battery Hana withstands temp controlled (500F at 30w) all day without the battery meter even budging. Unreal.

Awesome battery life! Noticed that Hana modz will be at the vape bash in Chicago this April. Hope they have these discounted there, I may buy one.

I've had mine a few weeks and really pleased so far. I've done a write up on my blog. With the temp protect 40w really seems to be enough because it just controls the speed at which coil heats, rather than the ultimate temp. Gotta kinda take what you knew before, scrap it and learn anew.
