Here's an update on the garage situation....
The neighbor agreed to ONE day, that day was yesterday. We managed to get some things, but not everything we wanted/needed. The rest is for whatever the neighbor wants to do with it, including the garage. We also took off the new lock.

Awww so sad that you couldn't get everything for your mom- sorry this has happened and that the neighbor couldn't be more kind and understanding for you all to get everything out of the garage.

it is a real shame the neighbor doesn't have a heart and realize the sentimental value of some thing. Glad you got what you did for your mom.

We were able to get the more important things like the Sign in book from the funeral, clothes and an outside rocking chair. We had already got one of them, but not the other. It is a memory of her and dad sitting in them on the back porch watching the wildlife, watching the grandchildren swim when they were young, having cookouts. It was an emotional day.
Of course, we got more things, but those were the top ones.

The Most Important thing was....
Mom was able to get Closure. The way she left, well, wasn't pleasant. This was the day Mom was able to say Goodbye, as we did too.
My heart broke even more so when she was crying and saying goodbye. All I could do was hug her.

Is anyone runnin windows 11? I kept gettin this thing to upgrade, I never accepted but did goto see what it was and about, well, just as everything else goes in my life somehow it went to a bunch of upgrades and then went to windows 11. It took me an hour to figure out how to shut down :facepalm: cause I didn't see the power button camouflaged in the new screen, I am gonna try it for a while it said I have 10 days to go back but I doubt I could figure that one out

I'm sorry Jimi. I don't let windows update my computer. I keep updates, including "update orchestrator" turned off under System and Security. Even if you go back, it will have installed things on your computer that will still be there.

Maybe you'll enjoy Windows 11. Some people prefer Apple computers for greater security, but they have become just as intrusive.

thank you my friend:hug:, it's been different but I am startin to get the hang of it, like to never figured out where the power button was and it was right in front of my blind ole body :facepalm:
