So im looking to get my first unregulated box mod, I came across this, should I get it? Bc im not wanting to spend $50 on one but this one seems I little weird. Here is the

I'm not experienced with unregulated mods.
But, It looks like that is a parallel box to me.

Share the amp load between both batteries instead of a series box that would combine both batteries to get more volts/watts.

It's just a basic parallel box... with no reviews. The quality of construction and components used, along with the wire terminal fitments will determine if you can easily and safely utilize the full potential of over 250 watts... assuming your builds will be that low a resistance.

Here is an example of a 250 watt / quad parallel, 0.15Ω build... with a modest heat flux (coil radiant heat). Other than a substantial heat capacity value (time to temperature), it's a normal deep sub-ohm build.

Of course, you don't need to utilize the full output potential... perhaps you're just looking for a longer run time, where you effectively double the time available with a single 18650 mech.

Well I know they are parallel, thats what I want bc right now im using a fuhatton and while its good its not good for low builds bc it get warm and the battery gets warm. Thats why I want this box mod for my dark horse. I have a.10 build in it and 2 hits makes the whole mod warm. Ive used an abs box mod with it and I can take way way more hits and the batteries are not even the slightest of warm. And I have way more clouds and flavor.

That's not a 40a max CDR battery. Imrens are somewhere in the 20 amp CDR rating.

I know they say 40amps. Companies like Imren, Efest, and Vamped outright lie on their wrappers as their SOP all the time to get some more money out of vapers. It's a disgusting business practice, but they can get away with it because they know that at least 70% of vapers won't do the research and out of that 70% at least 40% won't listen to the 30% that do do their research thus they'll still have 40% of vapers eating out of their hands.

I get you, but that's not what it really is. Imren doesn't make their own cells. They take an LG or a Samsung or a Panasonic and rewrap it. They can print whatever the hell they want on the wrapper. Imren as a cell manufacturer doesn't exist. They buy B or C grade cells and rewrap them with a higher amp rating printed on the wrapper. Efest, Super Subohm Cell, and Vamped Vaper do the same shit. They're 20amp until proven otherwise.

i would stay away from that box because it looks plastic. and there is no protection so it may get hot and no guarantee it wont melt the first time you use it. fastech has a few cheap wood boxes and metal as well . heres the one i have in the mail https://www.fasttech.com/products/3027/10011331/2074202-tesla-invader-ii-wood-mechanical-box-mod

I have to side with the majority on this one, that box is an unknown quantity. BYW I ordered an RDA from FASTTECH on Feb 6th. It's still not here. I dont recommend FASTTECH for anything.

Sadly I ordered a dimitri box from them this morning. And for the ABS box mod, I didnt go with it, but ive used it before and never had a problem out of it. My mutation x doesnt like to sit flush with it sadly but the box sure does throw some power. When I use it, I dont go below a .15 build. Tried a .10 once it it fireballed my eyebrows off lol.

The Dimitri is a good box. I wonder what you mean by, "it fireballed my eyebrows off," though?

Flames flew off the bare but slightly juiced unwicked coils. As I was readjusting them it got to hot and a fireball flew and burned my eyebrows a little

Just to update, I got the RDA from Fastech. It broke during the second rebuild...

They won't replace it. Or refund my money. Never again....

That's odd, I run low subohm all day on my FUhattan with no issues whatsoever

PH 26650 stainless. I was cleaning for a flavor change it and the center screw snapped off in the center post.

Ph26650? Wtf is that? Go to fasttech and look at their 26650 plume veil, if a center post like that will work, pm me. I've got one from a 26650 plume veil I fkd up before I even got to use it.

Im a fan of fasttech and i have no doubts this box mod wouldnt work but its not using very high quality components and i personally wouldnt trust it...maybe on a .5 or up coil but not something id go .4 and under with.

The wire is not good...the spring loaded 510 can be a huge danger being of cheap quality as they can short very easily and probably have huge voltage drop in them anyways...I would try one on a low power regulated box however.

I dont see a mosfet anyplace in the box.

The battery box im sure is not all that great and has some huge resistance in them.

..Resistance is heat

I see people buying them and saying "ill just rebuild it"....well cool..you just paid all that money for a piece of plastic when you could start with a hammond box and paid 15 dollars more for something alot better and safer....*shrugs...to eaches own.

For 30 bucks id rather have a Dovpo GX200.

finally got the invader in and its awesome. no problem with the fit and finish and it hits like mike tyson bites ears. would recommend it
