So...Got a new Sig 150 splendid...
New 25r's married splendid...
New vct4's married dunno now.
Subtank mini also splendid.

However my question is do I run batteries down to the low voltage shut off or 0% before recharging? Or do I need to recharge sooner like at 3.5v?

The sig will run them down to 3.5-3.6 before giving you a low batt warning. Charge when you hit that point. Happy Vaping! My 100W takes them down to 3.3V. Not an issue.

It's all good.

You are dealing with Li-ion batteries and not Ni-cads which had some weird charge memory thing going on with them.

When my regulated devices say stop, I do and I charge the batteries.

With my Sigelei 30 watt mini, I connect it to charge overnight when I go to bed even if there is life left in the battery so I am good to go for the next day.

Sometime you will need to tell us about the Mini. Since we are both Sig fans, I'd like to know what you think of it and what wattage/atties you are using on it. My wife still likes her Cloupor, but I'd like to upgrade to the Mini to get the "stranger" out of the collection.

Mine has no desire to drip or use an RTA like me. She can't lung hit. I think I am safe, for now. All my juice is low nic. She bitches if I make hers lower than 20 nic.

Low watts and a Clearo makes her happy. She likes the smaller mods and tanks anyway. She didn't even want my 25mm subtank.

When I ordered it, I purchased it for the sole use of a discreet out and about mod.

I have had it about a week now, and to be honest, for the most part it does not leave my hand.

Yes, I like it that much!

The display is different than my Sigelei 100 watt mod. More like what you would see in the original DNA devices. Simple battery charge graphic, resistance display and it retains the last used voltage for your inspection instead of having to look at it when the power button is depressed.

The display is not very bright when in use and you can't see it at all in bright sunlight. But you can momentarily brighten it right up by adjusting the wattage up or down to see in the sun and then do the reverse to get back to the wattage you want.

I do not use the presets but I can see the use if you switch back and forth between different "toppers" and E-Liquids.

The battery is inserted in the back of the device and not the sides and the battery door is held in place by magnets.

IMHO, the magnets are not as strong as the ones in the 100 watt version.

And they don't have to be as the device comes with the silicon cover which I love and when that is installed, no chance in hell the cover is coming off for obvious reasons.

The cover gives perfect access to the power and adjustment buttons and to the charging port on the bottom and the vent holes.

And has a nice no slip hand feel.

Back to the buttons, very firm and "Clicky" I approve. No rattles.

And before I forget, the spring loaded pin seems to be top notch and without defect.

You need a good flat top battery for it and this is the one I use.

http://www.lightningvapes.com/products/samsung-inr-18650-25r-battery

20 amps continuous with a 2500 mAh capacity.

I normally have a Kayfun Lite Plus on top of it and I run it at 18.5 watts +/- depending on the E-Liquid and my taste at the moment.

And the battery last on a full charge from when I first get up until I go to bed.

Using the internal USB charger, it takes 3 hours to charge the battery.

There is no indicator to tell you when it is charged other than checking it by pressing the power button.

While it is charging you see a kind of lightening bolt thing in the battery display. When it is fully charged, it switches to show fully charged.

Sadly, according to the instructions, it is not to be used as a pass through device.

And it comes with a 90 day warranty. And in my experience if a electronic device last 90 days, it's going to last for a long time unless you break it.

Hopefully this answers you questions.

If not, sorry as I will have to start making shit up!

I am very glad I pulled the trigger on this.

Thanks!

Does the cover allow you to plug in the charger with the cover on?

The Cloupor lasts my wife 2 or three days on a charge.

She has Efest batts for hers, but I have ordered 2 pairs of Samsung 25R's just the other day.

Yep it do.

It's amazing, just like Sigelei intended that there be access to the charging port!

But then again, the cover was manufactured by Sigelei. Says so molded into the cover:D

What does she use as a topper and what wattage does she have it set to?

And how much does she vape?

I have the Sigelei Mine in my grubby paws from sunup to sundown!

Topped with a Aero V2.
Uses about 1.5 mils a day.

KFL, 18.5 Watts, 5 ml (+/-) per day.

Apples and Oranges my friend.

And I rather think that the Sigeleis are built a bit better.

And non to my knowledge have ever caught fire while charging or in use?

But I am assuming that your wife has not had an issue and if she like it let her keep it:D

Apples and Oranges, sure.

But if it was not working right for your use, I would not have confidence it would hold up for her either.

She likes new and shiny, almost as much as I do.

Ditto what Uncle says on the Sig mini. I use mine all day long. Very happy with mine, I've had it probably 6 weeks. I run VTC4's in mine. They are nice mods.
