He said at this point, he doesn't think I fell because of the lack of a healing surface bruise. It's what made him decide to get the MRI. I talked them this afternoon and they are waiting on a pre-cert from the insurance company and then will get it scheduled ASAP after that.

Best of luck to ya for sure!

Shit, that's about double what I'm doing.

You're using 100% VG?
No 50/50. Lot more tobacco flavour, less carmel, and with no nic. that almost nutty flavour is gone, . got to find a new adv, that's for sure.

I'm vaping Batty Buccaneer, made by mushroomvapes.com.

Definitely a nutty taste, if you want that. Not sure if he makes it 0 nic, but you can always ask. There's a phone number on his site, and he typically picks it up during business hours.

Edit: don't know if she's tried Batty. I meant she likes Mushroom Vapes like I do.

I got a bottle of that a week before the order to cut the nic. I liked it, gave it to my wife. All 4 bottles I ordered were 6mg. Mel made out.:)

3rd. of the month.
Hope it all pays off. Have they said how long you should expect to wait for a transplant match after they put you on the list?
And remind me... is it liver or kidney?

Kidney, and no on the waiting..... you do know ,12 people die everyday, waiting on a kidney.

Not to sound smart but, transplant lists are like playing the lottery. Odds suck

So safe to assume you do dialysis.

Sorry, doesn't mean much to me... if you are ready for a transplant it seems like you'd be doing regular dialysis? Or do you go on the transplant list early so that there is time to work your way down the list while you get started on dialysis sometime in the near future?

That's the way it works.... the list is 80k long.
Ouch. My understanding is that you have to "match" but is that just based on blood type or are there other factors.

Note, if you'd rather not talk about it, I understanding. I tend to be pretty open about my medical issues finding that it helps work through them, but I know that not everybody gets that same benefit...

Yeah, from what it sounds like there is a reasonable chance that I might have to go under the knife. Anywhere between draining the fluid to having some room made for my big ol' brain :)

Hopefully it is an infection that the antibiotics will take care of though.

That being said, if it turns out to be the option that requires a tube to get inserted into my skull that runs to another part of my body for a sort of constant drain action to be reabsorbed by the body, then I'll get to start working on my Borg costume :)

That I do I also love that if you ask for extra flavor in notes he will add it

I don't have a problem discussing my health issues. I've found that for a number of reasons I don't. One.. the more I discuss it, I feel like I'm whining, and there's always someone, who has more or worse issues. Two..I'm so very blessed to just be alive, they gave me 3 to 5 after my heart-transplant, and the other four friends who got there's when I did, are all gone. So over 16 years now, I can't complain. I've found in my case the more I discuss my health issues, by the time I list them all, and go over the side affects of all the meds....... well ,it's very easy to feel bad. I'm going to enjoy every day I got left.:D
