According to steam-engine.org, you should come out at 1.3 Ohm. Got any pictures?

You might be having a grounding issue. I know on my evod coils I used to mass rebuild them and would let them sit and then I would go to use one and my coil that was supposed to be 1.2 was metering at 2.5 or sometimes higher. Check around the rubber insulator that separates the leads around the center pin. You might have a small tear or it might be wearing threw causing it to ground out improperly. Those things are very flimsy and it doesn't take much for one to go bad.

I don't know if you're trying to rebuild a Nautilus or Atlantis head, but if it's the Nautilus one than you can get all the spare parts you need to rebuild them with including an entire coil head assembly that is not put together so you can build from scratch and the parts are fairly cheap all things considered. Aspire gear is a pain to rebuild in general. It can be done but they don't make it easy.

Best of luck to you :)
