Gimme some ideas for additions to FA Forest Mix?

So... I haven't mixed much juice since my last order came in. A persistent head cold has put vaping and mixing on hold for a minute. One of the many awesome flavors that came in the new shipment was Forest Mix. Smells awesome! What little I can smell anyway. I smell the fruitiness but it really does smell woodsy too. It got the ol' gears turning.

What's a few things I should consider mixing it with? I'll probably try 3% standalone first but I'm thinking about eventually adding some Fig, Oak, Catalan Cream? Oba oba? Fig and Oba Oba are new to me as well but they smell great and seem like they might blend well in a woodsy fruity mix. Blackcurrant comes to mind as well. I've been digging really strong and complex flavors lately so I'm not scared to add a handful of flavors @ 1% to Forest Mix @ 3% and see what happens.

It combines perfectly with any and all the FA berry flavors, including Blackcurrant. Heap on your favorite berries.
Then bury the berries in your favorite sweet-creamy-vanilla combo. It's not very sweet on its own.

All things lemony contrast well with it, including FA Custard and Catalan Cream. Anise makes it sweet and, well, anise-y - like some European candies. Do you like Brandy? Just a little makes Forest Mix peppier. FA Apple Pie makes great crust for that - the berries cover the apple flavor easily.

3% should penetrate your head cold. Just 0.5-1% will add definite dark-berry flavor to just about any recipe.

Speaking of heaping on berries, I had also thought about Bilberry. Every time I think about fruits it's immediately followed by "plus 1% vienna cream, meringue, custard and vanilla bourbon". Because decadence.

I do like Brandy! Apple Pie was one of the few 30ml flavors that I have bought so far. It's a new addition as well. Can't wait to add some crust!

Nothing penetrates this head cold. I should break out my Ice recipe for a few days. (4% WL Menthol, 2% FA Peppermint and 6 drops of Koolada per 10ml). Might need to up all of the percentages to combat this epic fucking snot-storm though. I was getting better a week ago but I keep working in crawl spaces and that just keeps fueling this mucus factory in my head and chest.

Based on HIC's recommendations I have this preliminary recipe to work from. Hehehe. 13% FA total sounds pretty good. That should qualify as "in your face" flavor. I think I'll call it "Fuck Your Face".

3% Forest Mix
2% Brandy
1% Apple Pie
1% Bilberry
1% Blackcurrant
1% Vienna Cream
1% Custard
1% Vanilla Bourbon
1% Meringue
1% Catalan Cream

In reality I should drop everything back by 25% at least. We will find out! Hopefully tomorrow. Bedtime is upon me.

My wife's ADV is 4% FA Rose, 4% FA Forest Mix...I like to pep it up but keep the fruity thing going with Mad Fruits/Mad Mix or Bilberry or Pomegranate or any FA citrus or...insert anything you can think of here. That recipe you have going sounds good, if a little intense - think I'm gonna use everything you've named that I have and try it! Maybe add a little Lemon Sicily...

Nice. I was going back and forth between citrus mix and forest mix last night trying to decide which to use first. Then you go and say add citrus to the forest mix... Rose huh? I'm scared of the FA florals. I have floral PTSD from FA Grape Concord and Velvet Cloud's Catherine the Grape. I might have to grab a sample of Rose or Hibiscus next time though.

I think what I'll start with is the Forest Mix, Vienna Cream and Vanilla Bourbon since I'm very familiar with the last two. The Apple Pie is definitely going to be added soon after. Sometimes I have good luck starting out with a bunch of ingredients but it's always better to start small and add. Plus, it may not need very many! Hoping to mix up some and rewick a RDA tonight to see what's up.

I haven't mixed this yet, but the Forest Mix variation is first on my list.

Also, drop some in your oatmeal or anything else that might otherwise be simple Also don't boil your flavors, they'll evaporate a bit. 5+ drops FA per cup of oatmeal for light flavor, mostly aromatic, (real) milk/cream/butter and sugar helps a ton. I add flavor to cold milk first separately ... cheers

The Forest Mix and real milk tastes better than real milk at the bottom of a bowl of fruit loops imo. I think many would need to add sugar to like it as much as me

Nice. I'll have to try the scones recipe. Thanks for pointing that one out. I have everything in the list except TFA Cranberry. For once I can make HIC recipes without placing an order first!!! I feel very proud. It only took about 80 flavors to get to this point.

4% FA Forest Mix
1% FA Vienna Cream
1% FA Vanilla Bourbon

It's not bad. The Forest Mix @ 4% tastes a little like TFA Dragonfruit to me. It's a good flavor but I burnt myself out on that flavor with a B+M juice that is apparently heavy on the Dragonfruit. Was vaping it at a show last night and people kept asking where the skittles were. I taste a little bit of that but not much. More dragonfruit to me.

Headed to the lab now to try this.

For the record, I mixed it at 80VG and was vaping it in my MutationXv2, quad 26ga coils, 0.2 ohms at 80-100W on my IPV3.

Hmm. That sounds good. I've read that Cocoa doesn't work at higher wattages though. I can't remember the last time I vaped at less than 25W. Usually 40-80. I also have FA and TFA Chocolate. I wonder if they would work better at higher wattages.
