Hi All,
any of you use Glass syringes and if so, where did you get them from. I am looking for a good 1 ml glass syringes that will take the luer lock blunt needles.

I found some on Ebay, but thought they were a little pricey.

I found a few around. Most about 11.00 each. Just not sure if others were doing anything with glass. I need to get a few since some flavors I have eat plastic syringes.

True. But for $11, I can get 100 plastic ones and cover the numbers with scotch tape....lol! I keep a cup of hot water on my desk when I'm mixing. Soon as I use one I put it in the cup and draw the water into it. When I'm done I wash all the dirties and air dry them. They last a good while.

You could try these. I have read (somewhere) where someone swears by these both for not getting melted by strong flavors and the ink does not get rubbed off. Read their right up.

I do the same except I dedicate one syringe for each flavor. Mix, rinse in cup and then use a rubber band to hold the syringe to the bottle.

I do all of this too. Problem is the second the pineapple hits the syringe it immediately reacts very badly.

I got mine here - they work great: http://www.zoro.com/g/Glass Syringe Reusable/00141141/

One thing that I didn't expect is that unlike a syringe with a rubber stopper, you can't suck up liquid to a certain point and just leave it there in position. Instead, you have to hold the plunger in place so the liquid doesn't empty out through the needle.
I was looking at them on that site actually. Thanks for the heads up on the issue of holding the plunger in place. I hadnt given that any consideration but now that I know that, it wont come as a surprise.

Depending on how,big a batch you are making you can get 2 glass droppers at Walmart for like a dollar. I guess you might need a cheap scale for that to. Just a thought
