I have been (for years) an avid user of what some call sweet tart. Mr. E Liquid calls it sweet smarts (http://www.mister-e-liquid.com/sweet-smarts/). The flavor has the dry, powdery taste of smartie's candy.
My question is which flavoring is the right one for this? there are several sweet tart flavorings, and There is a local shop around here that has the same flavoring, but he won't tell me who makes the flavoring. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I have something called SweeTart by TFA (The Flavorer's Apprentice) which tastes like what you're describing. I've never used it on its own, but added a few percentage points to fruit mixes. I had been hoping it would have more of a "punch" - but it really is a "powdery" flavor, as you say... so perhaps this is it. Pretty sure other companies make a similar thing, however. Maybe others will weigh in.

That powdery taste is what I am after. Thank you for the input! I have some from tfa in the mail, I'll report back with my findings.

I think you'll be pleased with it, too. Pretty spot on flavor for sweetarts. I can't say it reminded me of smarties, but I likely mixed it too strong, too.

I'll also weigh in and vouch for the TFA version - at around 6% I got the smarties vibe, added just a touch of Skittles and got closer to actual Sweet Tarts.

What VG/pg blend do you use?

OK cool, I use close to that usually.

I get in the mood for something made with TFA's Sweet Tart. After a few days of vaping it I'm good for a few weeks.

I Vape it as a single flavor. Odd for me, I'm usually a much more complex flavor enthusiast.

Odd for me, I can't do any single flavors. It has to be mixed with something.
One day I will force myself to make a single flavor. I could pop into a vape shop and buy a single flavor e-liquid and be ok with that other then knowing I could make it for far less money myself.
