What an amazing combo these two make. The mini is a flavor chaser, has a real deep juice well and has 2 airflow options. Its machined perfectly and looks like building will be no problem at all. I let my BnM do the first build, dude put a basic 24g dual coil setup in 6 wraps at about .2 Ohms.
The SMPL is exactly as the name implies. Its a tube a switch and a battery. The switch is flawless and the throw is short.
The setup itself is great for newbs or peeps who just want an easy go to vape. Total cost was $65. Not bad.

This is my new go to setup, I retired my 4nine/Tobh setup after 5 months. Bummer...I love them.

Sounds pretty solid! Definitely watch out for leakage on the FS mini, I absolutely love mine but it does leak around the top cap a bit no matter how I fill it or use it. It's not an issue for me since I always use it on mods with leak resistant 510 connections but if it leaks into the SMPL you'll have juice dripping on your battery which could go badly. Not saying don't use it but be aware :D

Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated. So far so good. They seem made for each other...

What ever atty you use on that smpl, just make sure the atty contact pin sits nice and proud. You don't want a short circuit. And never use sub tanks like the Atlantis or Kanger on one. Other than that, the smpl is the best. I use them exclusively.

I'd never seen a tube mech that is exactly what I want until the SMPL. Perfectly simple form and function. I have no desire to buy any other mech, but I do desire to buy a few more SMPL's. I've had mine for a little while now and still can't find a single thing I would change. The way my Derringer performs and the way it fits with my SMPL makes for a combo that leaves me wanting absolutely nothing.

Ok. My vape gear love fest is over. Carry on. :D

I upload pics from my phone to imgur. Select "bbcode", copy and paste that to your post and the pic shows up in the post.

Those Bambinos look friggin awesome on the SMPL, I have to get one. I already love my derringer so they should be a great addition.
I love the Derringer too, but the Bambino works even better. Keep your eyes open and be ready to pounce. The last batch of 1000 lasted about 5 minutes before they sold out.

What do you like better about the Bambino? I love my Derringers and I'm just curious.

The Bambino has a dome cap, slightly larger deck, a little deeper well, easier to build on, and doesn't have the spit back that a Derringer does. Also, it doesn't leak as easily when you over drip it.

That said, the Bambino has no air flow control. It's always wide open, which is what I like. Same air flow as the derringer wide open. ***edit***, and dual coil only, unless you wanted to tape off one side.

Ditto on the SMPL. I love all 3 of mine but the 1 spring button gets way more love than my 2 magnetic buttons. My favorite B+M got some of the Freakshow Mini / SMPL combos in the other day. The Freak Mini looks great! However, the Freakshow mini's positive pin, when screwed all the way in, wasn't protruding enough for me to feel safe with it on the mod they obviously made them for. WTF. Wotofo, don't try to live up to your name. Yes, you can loosen the positive pin for safe use on the SMPL (and luckily that doesn't make the center post loose) but still... That center pin might tighten itself back up over time. A killer atty and mod for sure but they made it possible to short a battery. Damn it guys.

The answer to this problem is the same as it is with all of the subtanks. File down the negative threads on the atty. My Atlantis and Arctic both love my SMPLs now that I fixed the design flaw (non-protruding positive pin).

The point I'm trying to make with all of this ranting is to please be careful everyone. My stock atlantis' positive pin protruded a little and I used it on a SMPL for two weeks with no issues. Then I shorted a battery. It was scary.

Using a hybrid mod is damn awesome. If your atty doesn't have a really proud positive pin though, keep an eye on it!

It's gotta poke out more than you think, fellas.

I recently bought an Origen Genesis atty. The pin will not stay fixed, it keeps moving up back into the threaded stem when I fire it. Is there a fix for that that you know of? Should I not use that atty with the SMPL?

Note: I haven't used the Genesis because of this issue. The only time I do is when Im trying to fix the problem. Thanks

I'm not familiar with that atty. Is the positive pin threaded? It still creeps back up into the connector? If so, maybe try what I did to my Atlantis and Arctic.
1 - Put a Stingray X hybrid adapter onto the atty. (a 7mmx0.5 jam nut from the hardware store might work if you don't have a 510 threaded cap that's thin enough)
2 - Take the positive pin out.
3 - File down the negative threads. I used a fine flat file.
4 - Reinsert positive pin and see if you went far enough. If not, repeat steps 2 + 3.
5 - Take hybrid adapter off of atty (cleans up the threads on the way off, that's the only reason you put it on in the first place).
6 - Use the atty on a SMPL without worries.
7 - Smile.

The die for chasing the threads is an M7x.5

Great, thanks for that. My bro suggested something similiar.I was a bit hesitant but this seems like a solid idea.

Received my package! I ended up using my Marquis instead of the FSM, I thought it looked better murdered out (except the drip tip). This thing is sleek and looks/feels awesome. Here she is...

Sweet setup dank...

I wound up picking up an istick 50w to hold me over with the Genesis. I dont wanna mess anything up. Ive only done 1 build on it, so....I still got the SMPL w the Freakshow Mini to play around with to, some bigtime flavor comes outta that little beast. Nice clouds too...

Exactly what I was looking for. I know the regular FreakShow sticks out far enough, but bought the Mini yesterday thinking that it would be okay on my SMPL. The boyfriend hastily stopped me and wouldn't let me use it on there because it doesn't come out far enough. Just got it back out and its adjustable to a certain extent...but I wanted to be DOUBLE SURE it was safe before using it. Thanks so much!

You are very welcome. Glad I could help. If you don't file the negative threads back just keep an eye on that positive screw please. I could tighten itself back down.

The Freakshow Mini's that I saw would maybe be okay with the screw tightened all the way. After my scare I want definitely okay.
