It is funny. They run it on the all-reruns channel sometimes. There is some depth there. The characters are all based on something historic or iconic. Thurston Howell was a Jay Gatsby type character, a millionaire from Newport. The Ginger character was mainly based on Marilyn Monroe. Marianne was the corn fed Kansas farm girl in the time of the Kansas farm heyday. Bob Denver was a beatnik-ish figure in the Dobie Gillis series before he was first mate Gilligan. He would probably have wound up in Vietnam had he not been marooned on an island. It seems unlikely to me that the Howells or Ginger would ever have been on a mass market three hour tour boat to begin with. The Howells would have rented a yacht or have had a vacation home in Hawaii with their yacht moored nearby. Ginger would have been a guest on a millionaire's yacht.
But there had to be a way to create the group, and it was just a fantasy. I can't watch more than one episode because the ridiculousness starts to work my nerves. But "steak smothered in hamburgers" is a moment of Gilligan genius.

Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me- Mac Davis
This is what two kitties eat everyday.
It's 3 eggs hamburger, ham, turkey, and chicken. Every since they been eating this, lol, sorry fior the rest of this. Their poos have not stunk up the house, lol. It's so very nice not smelling it.
The third kitty Tiggly (change name from Tiggie) won't eat it. He just gets the ham and turkey, but him just eating those two foods his poo doesn't stink either.
That canned food, oh my goodness, their poos really stunk. So glad they are not eating the canned food anymore.

A discovery: If you copy-paste images into a post instead of using the "insert image" function, you don't run into limits, and even .gif files will copy-paste keeping the gif format.
