Hello friends.

looking for some advice on MTS Vape wizard from the master of Flavourart mr Hic or some else aficionado. Had a difficult time with it and it seems that can be combined in specific flavours. I've used it with some fruits and took out the sharpness (as expected from them). Any ideas?

Had Smooth in some tests from TPA though it's a bit different , not the same potency as the bad guy from FA.

Many thanks

No advice here because I have not used it yet. But here is a right up from FA themselves, incase you have not seen this.

Vape Wizard
You can make it magic !! MTS stands for Mellow, Thick and Smooth, and it is a major
breakthrough in taste technology for PV users. Based on our thorough understanding of
taste mechanisms, we have developed a product which we believe will increase the
pleasure of your vaping experience. MTS vape wizard contributes toward softening any
acidic/sour perception, it assists in making vapour thicker, and it delivers both body and
depth to any e-liquid. It can be used on its own, blended with tobacco flavours, or with
any other flavour of your choice. There are no limitations as to its versatility. Make your
vapour fuller and richer.. Let MTS Vape Wizard work its magic for you! Suggested
dosage 0,5-2% Additional notes on Vape Wizard. we developed it starting from a food
flavour that delivers aged, woody and slightly smoky notes. The original flavour was
formulated to improve mouthfeel and body, especially for liquid foods and some type of
drinks. As it worked well in foodstuff, we decided to make a vape version of it. Then we
combined it with Magic Mask ( see its features ), which works on tongue receptor and
soften the acid perception. So when we tasted and tested VW, we noticed that theory was
right and it delivered its promises. It does not influence the vapour properties, nor boost
the steam in any way. It works as a food flavour and the substances we used, when used
at subtle level, delivers the full and bodied sensation. It is a very delicate flavour, and its
action is on perception inside the mouth. It should be used in combination with other
flavours as it tends to lower high notes and boost the background notes. It is a
complimentary flavour and should not vaped as such, due to the fact it has an undistinct
taste. Its main goal is to round off other flavours.

Cheers Bob.

i've read their advice though its a bit generic in terms that it didn't worked that way in my test runs. Especially mixes with fruits or creams seem to die with it's use even at 0.50 to 1%.

Well I don't know much about all this mixing stuff, but the way I read their right up and the way I understand it is that it will do exactly what your getting. It will calm down flavors and thus you feel like your flavors are dieing. I could be totally wrong here.
As for HIC knowing anything about this I don't know. I have read every recipe of his, and unless I have missed something, I have never seem him use this.
I plan on getting some of this in the future and try it on tobacco flavors that I like but find to be too harsh.

I like to use it on high citrus juices with back notes.. does its thing and keeps me happy.. :)
I use it on some tobaccos, more the heavier ones.. the light ones, I like better, go without this.

I'd describe VW as sweet leather-wood. Too much of it and you'll be reminded of the smell of the cosmetic interior section of an auto-supply store, and there's a pervasive creaminess to it that is leathery and sweet. On a taste darkness scale of 1-10, I give it a 6 by itself. This is at 3% solo.

With that in mind, at 0.5% IME:
In fruits, it will add contrast
In dark stuff, it will be more complimentary, filling out a profile with it's unique notes.
In either case, the creaminess softens edges (blends notes) kinda aggressively. I think you lose definition of your mix at around 1.5% VW and starts tasting like VW at 2%, though 0.5-1% is usually enough for VW to do it's job. This is rough, too many variables to account for and stay brief. And it's just my silly opinion!

Oakwood and VW Wizard taste the same to me mixed 3% solo, smooth tpa could imo be renamed "malibu essence" and is by itself fruity and I taste coconut and probably pineapple. Redwood TPA tastes/smells like an honest but failed attempt at copying Oakwood.and VW. The main notes are the same and tastes overall simpler like a tall cold glass of armor-all haha

I don't have much to say about it, because I rarely use it. I agree with a lot of @Laughmore 's comments. It does look, smell, and taste most like Oakwood. I personally get more use from Oakwood, though. I think of VW as more of a "personality eraser" for flavors. Without it, you have the old Dave Letterman in tennis shoes, dropping bowling balls off the roof. With it, you have David Letterman in a suit interviewing some airhead. lol I think it would be a must-have for tobacco experts, though.

Thanks Smoky. I will keep this in mind. So far I have a couple of harsh ones that I like and would like to tone them down a bit. Dark Vapure and Perique two of HIC's favorites LOL

They are very similar but VW's creaminess is a little thicker and sweeter, but in an overbearing way... hard to describe. Great utility though.

Without context, a loud jazz chord might be a just a noisy piano stab.
