Hey guys. I was thinking about making a product for all the mech users out there. It would be a single battery sled with an integrated volt meter. Just pop your battery in to test current voltage. All self powered and small enough to fit in your pocket and go anywhere. What do you guys think? Good idea?

I've got one similar to this, but used it with fresh batteries for testing voltage drop rather than actual battery charge...well, really I just bought it and played with it maybe once or twice, then it joined the box of forgotten vape toys on top of the fridge...
LOL....same here!

I'd rather do voltage tests on batteries in the field without having to unscrew anything or carry a separate piece of gear. A battery box that holds two 18650's and has a built in voltage tester would be great. I already carry a twin 18650 battery box for my spares, so incorporating the tester wouldn't add to my pockets. I think doing it right would require some custom fabrication to keep it about the size of a plain old battery box. If it was done right I'd buy one.

I have a 3d printer so fabrication is not an issue.

If you really want to make a new vapors tool then instead of telling me the voltage since we can get a screw in meter for our mechs and most smart chargers and basic multimeters can tell us voltage...what would be really cool is if we had a little battery sled that told us the mAh of the battery or internal resistance so we could monitor our battery's health better...that would really be nice.
